Okay, the dial for Zatanna has been spoiled right? How exactly does her Raelc Dnim power work? The text reads "RAELC DNIM: Give Zatanna a power action, or a free action if she has no action tokens, and choose another friendly character within 4 squares and line of fire. That character can't be affected by Outwit or Perplex until your next turn."
So, can I perplex that character before using that power and have it apply, then protect them with it and say TK them out to cause havoc? So they'll keep the perplex I give them until my next round and it can't be further affected by the enemy, or would it cancel my use as well?
I ask because the character is already affected before you use the power. So it's a little unclear. I'm just asking to make sure I understand how it works correctly.
They can be Perplexed as much or as little as you like both before and after this effect is used... there is absolutely nothing in this effect that says they can't be targeted with Perplex or Outwit.
But it does say they can't be affected by Outwit or Perplex. So all those Perplexes you just used? They're still used, but they just don't do anything useful any more.
Does it means you could outwit something offensive and then next turn it would end up effecting them once Zatanna's power wore off?
It seems to do just that. If you can be targeted by Outwit and Perplex, then its going to stay there until the Outwit/Perplexer's next turn. So when Zatanna'z turn rolls around again, she can either choose to use Realc Dnim on the same target, if possible, and once again make the Outwit/Perplex non-effective or said character would have to go through the turn suffering from the Outwit/Perplex.
So, If I were to use Zatanna's Realc Dnim power on a friendly character that was Outwit right before my turn, would the effects of Outwit be ignored, or would they stick because I used this power after they were Outwit?

The effects of the Outwit would be ignored, so the character would immediately regain any countered powers.
