Strangely, I find this 100 point version the best bang for your buck as far as being an effective secondary attacker that also TKs friendlies and heals them up if she gets KO'd.
100 points for 10 range Running Shot Pulse Wave with Power Cosmic and Outwit on top? That's a bargain I'll take any day. It's a good thing she's unique otherwise I could see three of these wrecking a single 300 point version all day long.
Luckily in the same set as the broken Iron Man, the 100 pt version of this fig is the perfect secondary non-gauntleted attacker to deal with him. She has running shot, outwit, 10 range triple shot, pulse wave, tk, 3 dmg and good values with good defenses, and last but probably most, power cosmic. The game has moved from having a tentpole with gauntlet and some support to having a mid-range 100 to 160 pt fig with gauntlet, Dark Phoenix at 100, and a little support. She is just amazing in every way, and for only 6 points less than Red Shift, she is the best power cosmic bargain by a long shot.
Look through the units section and see what a 100 points used to get you in years gone by. The game has been officially broken by dross like this and takes all the fun and strategy out of playing.
I guess stopping the most broken aspect of the game currently is considered broken now.
Yeah, well, I don't consider the infinity gauntlet broken. Is it awesome? Yes. Is it included on almost all modern age teams? Yes. However, I think it is both good for the game strategically and makes the game more fun in general. Plus hard counters to the most dominant game mechanic creates a rock-paper-scissor scenario where the counter beats the dominant mechanic (gauntlet), dominant mechanic beats everything else, everything else beats the counter. In heroclix's case it can be boiled down to sentroid beats iron man beats gauntlet beats sentroid
I don't know about you, but I find rock/paper/scissors games to be remarkably boring. There is no skill or strategy in team building, you just pick which of the three you're going with and hope you get favorable match-ups. When there's nothing so dominant that is HAS to be answered you get amazing variation in teams and so each match is going to be different.
Sentry/Void was a bad idea on Wizkid's behalf. The Gauntlet was probably also a bad idea. The Iron Man from this set is a much-needed counter to the Gauntlet, but it's such an inelegant, heavy-handed measure that it just makes the Gauntlet useless, as opposed to making it more balanced.
For 100 points, this fig is amazing. She doesn't have a lot of clicks but with range 10 she's not going to get hit very much. Power Cosmic on a fig this cheap is also ridiculous.
At 100 points, she's probably the single most effective figure from M10, or among any other version of Phoenix currently available. The 200- and 300-point versions suffer from power incompatibility (HSS + PW). For the difference in cost, you can add a great secondary attacker or support figures.
She's a beast when used with GX Professor X: Double Outwit and penetrating (PW, PB). You could also give DP Shellhead and team her up with GXFF Prof. X: She gains a 19-20 DV (20-21 in hindering) if she gains a second token when making a SC roll, and can continue to use SC when targeted by other characters.

IMO the best of her 3 dial. Sure, it's the shortest dial nd has the lowest damage output, but you can't argue with how awesome Running Shot and Pulse Wave are. I understand why she doesn't have it, but the X-Men TA would have been great to have on her. Especially when paired with GSX008 Cyclops.
I agree with CosmicBlackBolt, although, if you have the points, you can't really go wrong with the 300 pt version either, especially with her ability to heal back up that long dial with each KO.
