Question about Enchantress's Defeating the Justice League Power
This came up last night in a game involving enchantress. We had four different arguments about her Defeating The Justice League power and multi-targeting. Here is the power in question.
Quote
DEFEATING THE JUSTICE LEAGUE: Enchantress modifies her attack and damage values by +1 when attacking a character with the Justice League keyword.
Since she can target 2 characters which of the following is correct.
Option 1:
Since she is targeting 2 characters and not a single character, she does not modify her attack and damage values.
Option 2:
Since one or both of the involved characters have the Justice League keyword she only modifies her attack and damage by 1.
Option 3:
Since one of the the two characters does not have the Justice League Keyword she cannot use the power.
Option 4:
Since both of the involved characters have the Justice League keyword she modifies her attack and damage by 2.
We went with option 2 in the end, but I said I would ask the realms to make sure. So what do you think?
Almost #2. The modifiers are only ever +1 (because whether she is targeting 1 character with the keyword or 2 characters with the keyword, she is still targeting 'a character with the Justice League keyword'), but the modifier will only apply towards the qualifying character. From the PG:
When a modifier during an attack is based on a figure meeting a particular criteria (usually the targeted character), then that modifier only applies to the targeted character(s) but would not apply to any targeted characters that did not meet the criteria.
So if you target Superman and Bane, you'll activate this effect, but the bonus will only apply to Superman and not Bane.

So if you attack Superman and Bane with a damage value of 3 before the modifier is added and 4 after, you could only do a maximum of 3 damage to Bane and a you'd have to do at least one to Superman?
