Mr. Sinister Trait: Create New Marauders - As you reveal your force, friendly characters possess the Marauders keyword this game if they possess the Brotherhood of Mutants or X-men keyword or team ability.
Stryfe Trait: Leader of the Dispossessed - Stryfe can use Leadership. At the beginning of the game, choose up to 5 friendly characters. Those characters possess the Brotherhood of Mutants team ability as long as Stryfe has not been KO'd and they can't use another team ability.
So, does this combo say that I can use Stryfe and Mr. Sinister and any other 5 characters and they would all be Marauders?
Mr. Sinister makes BoM TA Marauders and Stryfe can make any 5 friendlies have the BoM TA
So like Sinister, Stryfe, Kang, Thanos, Chaos King, et cetera, et cetera...
Right!?
I mean, it's all there haha!
Now I know, Stryfe would have to stay alive the whole game and everything, and I am thinking the "as you reveal your force" and "at the beginning of the game" would make this not work, but I still think it is pretty cool haha
I am not sure if it works or not, but if anyone wants to do it with/against me, I am fine with it. It is hilarious and kind of accurate in a weird way, so I encourage the fun times haha! Not to mention 325 points is a hefty investment just to make a theme team out of anyone anyway.
I couldn't find in the rules what was considered the actual beginning of the game. I read references to beginning of the battle, and it says that you begin play after you place all characters.
If I look at a group of people who are pulling figures from their carrying cases and lining them up and adding up points, then they are not actually beginning a game? What the heck are they doing?
When I reveal all my completed forces, does that allow for sideboards? In case I want to switch in characters after I see what the opponents are going to be using.
If I reveal my force to be composed of 3 collosals, and I win a roll, am I a dick for choosing the streetfighter map?

Constructing their forces. The game cannot begin until each player has a finished force, after all.

The sideline is part of your force, so you need to reveal it with the rest of your force. So no, you cannot change your mind after you see what your opponent is playing.

Keep in mind that Street Fighter maps have the wrong format to be legal in tournaments.
