So, I have a lot of time on my hands being deployed and all, and I recently got back into heroclix after a few years of hiatus. I only got to play a few games before I left but have been slowly gaining up a collection while deployed and ordering some sets/singles (Although they are at home with my wife). I would like to start building some teams so I have them ready for when I get back, since I've had no luck searching for deployed players on this forum .

I would greatly appreciate all of your help in forming these teams for both a modern age and golden age versions. For the most part I will try to build a team, and also give my list of characters for the associated keywords. If you could also explain your thought process behind the forming of the team I would GREATLY appreciate it as I'm still relearning all the rules.

For starters I would like to make 2 teams from my favorite X-team, X-Force! (300pt Modern and Golden Age)

I don't have the LE Deadpool yet but it's definitely on my list of singles to buy. I really like all of the characters here but again I'm not sure if there are any glaring weaknesses I can't see.

I think the game would of been very different, except on the first turn he knocked Dark Phoenix onto her HSS click.

The biggest problem with X-force is the general lack of move and attack

I guess this is submitted to the tl;dr pile of death.

I never had much luck with my X-Force pieces and wound up selling most of them off, save for GSX LE Deadpool, the 74 point Psylock, 74 point Wolverine from the GSX Fast Forces and I recently picked up the tabapp X-Men set, which has a Wolverine with X-Force as a keyword. Long story short I played Psylocke, Deadpool and Wolverine as a 300 point X-Force team and for the first time ever, X-Force ripped their opponents to pieces. Deadpool and Wolverine's stealth, plus sweet attack powers and defenses, mixed with Psylocke's TK makes them pretty formidable and actually makes up for their lack of move and attack.

X-force definitely lacks mobility, mostly because they depend on stealth. From what I know their only real mobility is Psylocke's TK and Archangel and Siryn for early game Carry.

For your 300 Modern I would drop Domino and put in the LE Archangel.

I'm more of a Cable fan, so personally I would switch out Deadpool for "GX102 Cable" who is also 140 points.

First Turn have Archangel Carry up Deadpool(Or Cable if you choose to use him, though from what I see you'll have to get him first), Psylocke sets up for a TK.
Second Turn push Psylocke to TK Deadpool(or Cable) in order to get in an attack.

Thank you, I do like psylockes dial, but her uncommon is going for more than her LE on ebay. I do have the gsx archangel, but the gsx deadpool is getting more and more expensive. I do like these though. So what would you suggest for a 400 pt golden/modern age?

I haven't done a 400 point team one, but if I were to I would probably just add one of the following to the previous team I mentioned:

GX017 Domino 69 For the Probability Controll
X-Force Ata X4= 12 points

GX027 Siryn 94 To carry around Psylocke and Incapacitate. You're missing her, but she is also a fairly cheap price(Around a dollar).

This is assuming you want Deadpool in there of course.

Btw: The mystique you listed isn't X-Force rather she's X-Factor.

I tried to fit in Wolfsbane and X-23 in to a 400 point team, but I had no success. Both of them are really good and are also some of my favorite characters, however I had no luck in making the team and being happy with it. If you try one with Wolfsbane(Since you have her) let me know.

They do alright, just getting Boom Boom's time bomb's off at the right time is the crucial part. For you, you'll just have to switch out Cable for Deadpool. Of course I'm missing some pieces, which would change my team if I had them. Those pieces are:

WS027 X-23 60
Other Golden Age x-force Members.

Thank you very much! I love X-Force, and I don't know what I was thinking when I put Mystique up there. I bought the GX104 Archangel, but after looking at him more in depth, I'm really not sure I like him that much with the starting 2 AV clicks of 9. Although those 2 mid clicks of 10AV HSS with BCF seem deadly. I really need to buy that GX Deadpool, obviously there are pros and cons to both, but I think with his longer dial and stealth he would fit X-Force a lot better.

Well you can just use Archangel as a stealthy taxi, while healing your other characters with the X-Men Team Ability. Then when he has the hss click, just send him in. Or you can base an opposing figure(s) to keep them busy while your other figures do their job.

He pretty much switches roles throughout the dial, like most X pieces.

And no problem.
