He isn't the worst point investment for 50 points but with his attack value you need to know how to use him. If you send him to tie up your opponents brick you may well be knocked past Nightrunner's best clicks. I think this piece is best used to hunt down support pieces, and maybe try to mix it up with an opponents secondary attackers.
used this guy in sealed draft, on these new batman maps he is an amazing 50 pt investment, with all the elevated terrain on the maps he always has the stat boosts, and with the general lack of damage reducers in this set he is awsome in sealed play
For his cost relatively high cost he should be used as a pinball character--take advantage of Charge + Improved Movement + Willpower and relentlessly bash nearby low-point characters.

You must think characters like Blackbat or the Invisible Woman have obscenely high point costs if you consider 50 points to be "relatively high cost." I'd always considered anything below 70 points to be cheap.

That's why I said "relatively." A character's point cost is relative to its stats, powers, etc.. Think before you speak, son.
Looks like there might be a typo. "[Special] Dive Into Battle: When Nightrunner occupies elevated terrain at the beginning on your turn, modify his speed and attack values by +1 until end of turn." Should be "at the beginning OF your turn."
