Basically, Banner comes to S.H.I.E.L.D. with an offer for them: Fund his work (because he's one of the smartest guys on Earth and has a lot of great ideas that will help mankind) because he wants to leave a legacy other than destruction. In return, when S.H.I.E.L.D. needs something smashed, they can send in the Hulk.

Yep, though I'd also add:

-He has incriminating/embarrassing info (unknown) on Maria Hill that he uses to leverage the deal

-He has someone (unknown) who will receive and publish the information should Hill try to screw Banner over

-Banner basically says "You can accept my offer, or I can take it to Russia. Or China." Etc.

That last one wasn't really important, just damned cool.

Is Deadpool any good? I dont know a whole lot about him, but he does interest me as a character.

Well, if this tells you anything, within like the first issue he takes on a zombified FDR. So yeah, my verdict would be FANTASTIC!

Well, Marvel's move was less ambitious, but I think they probably have a greater percentage of excellence.

Marvel NOW!

- Thor is easily my favorite so far, with Deadpool a close second.
- FF and Captain America were great.
- Indestructible Hulk and Avengers seem like they are going to be great, but honestly it's hard to give them a truly fair assessment after just a few issues. I have very high hopes for both.
- Avengers Arena was surprisingly good even though I shook my fists at the heavens.
- I haven't read Iron Man, Fantastic Four, All-New X-Men, or that X-Legacy book.
- New Avengers will probably be my favorite. I'm a big Black Panther fan.
- I continue to LOVE LOVE LOVE Daredevil & Hawkeye.
- I really like Amazing Spider-Man and expect to continue to like Superior Spider-Man.


DC New 52

I have had longer to consider this bunch.

- I adore Wonder Woman, Action Comics, Batwoman, Dial H, and Batman. They are the cream of the crop.
- I really like Batman & Robin, Demon Knights, DC Universe Presents, All Star Western, Flash, Aquaman, Animal Man, Swamp Thing
- I maintain a fondness for Justice League Dark, Blue Beetle, Batwing, Frankenstein
- I have a hole in my heart due to the Omission of a Miraculously Awesome Comic. Also, I miss Men at War.
- Titles I really wanted to like but couldn't include Green Arrow, Justice League International, Red Lanterns, and Savage Hawkman.
- Titles I stopped buying despite still liking them include I, Vampire, Birds of Prey, and Nightwing.
- I have not really been interested enough in titles like Teen Titans, Superman, Supergirl, Legion of Super-Heroes, Legion Lost, Hawk & Dove, Deathstroke, Voodoo, Grifter, Earth 2, World's Finest, Captain Atom, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Firestorm, Justice League, and Catwoman to follow them much.
