Charge & Flurry with 4 damage that does penetrating on the second attack is no joke. Team him up with a cheap perplexer or prob controller that shares a keyword with him and that he can carry around for some serious damage. Common 100 point Batman from the Batman set would be a nice combo. You can also throw in JL Silver Age ATA to boost his attack. Then if you can fit in Oracle and the Utility Belt it gets more crazy. He also combos well with a piloted Invisible Jet carrying him and a JL buddy around to do the Purple Ray trick.

In my opinion, the first really great Guy Gardner. Finally, I have a reason to include the character on a team.

Unless it gets an eratta, watch out for I Carry This Team: it doesn't say Friendly character. Being adjacent to opposing characters with the same KW will still trigger it, giving you a +1 Dam, but then a +1 Def...

There are far better options for the points. The sculpt is cool, but his dial is not. Meh.

Paired with the Ice from this set (esp with Fire to taxi her around). The thing I wonder is, if you flurry/quake with him and they targets are still adjacent after the first quake (either b/c they have charge, didn't take damage, or are up against a wall) will the second quake do penetrating damage to all?

Flurry and quake can't be used together...it's one or the other.

I'm excited to see a good guy...I don't really play anymore but I still collect figs I like...and this is a fig I like...feels like guy except he should have a one punch special power. lol

Paired him up with GL Batman tonight. 294. Charge, flurry, then tk out with bats. Both have indom and plenty of green! Fun team. Great piece, and he gets more fun mid dial.

only one regret: i would have loved Enhancement on that first click. this would have combined with Ice and Fire well

Exactly the kind of buzzsaw I wanted from guy, he's very likely to get knocked to his best click and I've watched chew through clix. Oddly enough her works VERY well with 001 Batman.

No. You can assume that it is only talking about the character with the trait. Otherwise it would say "Whenever a character named Guy Gardner. . ."
