Build a team that supports two Arkham Asylum Guards. Doesn't matter if it's theme or not (though all three keywords can build reasonable teams). Capture can just outright nerf a player, especially if you happen to face a tentpole team.
Either that, or check out the Utility Belt team builds close to the event.

yea im not to worried about map rolls considering all of the improved movement in these 2 sets. i refuse to use vehicles in serious play cause even though its fun to use vehicles, i like to use pieces i enjoy to use and characters i like. the bug and batmobile are cool, but i dont need a long dial to suvive. im having fun playing the game. i know exactly how the other players at my venue build and play. i could be a dick and build a team to counter all of theirs, but im gonna run a competitive build of pieces i like. that is how this thread originated
What would you do against 6 Cop cars and 6 GCPD officers?
6 Unavoidable damage per turn, in addition to relocating opposing characters and making it nearly impossible to break away from them for any means.
And 66 clicks of Vehicle health, another 30 in police officers. 6 Perplexes. 6-12 PD Team abilities incase the cars want to make ranged attacks.
That is such a scary thought... the only defense I imagine having against it is that no one would buy 6 of each of those... I hope.

Um, why's everyone so hung up on map rolls? Isn't everyone forced to play on whatever the Month 6 map is going to be? Until it's revealed, it's going to be tough to decide whether vehicles are viable are not.
tested zur-e-a yesterday, 600 pts zur 153, supes 196, red hood 96, batman 001 100, alfred 42, belt 9 on zur for 596. went vs a team of mr freeze w/belt, starfire, crux, arsenal, black lightning, and batwing (auto pilot). it was sooo annoying with the outsiders ta, arsenal and starfire are definitely hard to handle cause they dish out damage so fast. it ended up going down to black lightning on click 1 vs superman on click 7. mind you hes only 8 clicks. got lightning down to click 5 but i lost in the end. i picked up the batwing to smash starfire but missed lol
