Originally posted by Billy Jack I know it's not in his character but I have always thought that Lane was a goldigger. I mean she never cared about Clark until she found out he was Supes, and then she was all over him. Heh I am sorry fan boy rant over.
Did you read Act of God? At any rate in every elseworlds story or maybe just about all of them Supes usually winds up with Diana.
Billy jack, that was one of the best fanboy rants I've ever read.
thank you.
ps. Actually Diana and Shazam(Billy Batson) would be a great team.
Clark belong with Mary Marvel...especially as characterized in the Formerly Known as the Justice League title.
Anyone know if they'll make another series like that one? That was a fun read.....comedy, no angst. I can appreciate that.
Yes, but you're a surrealist! I'm a normal guy!
Gil Zoo Crew or bust!
Just got around to reading this and....eh.
It was okay, maybe I was hoping for a whole lot more. It was pretty cewl seeing Lion-O put the smack down on Supes. The artwork was excellent!

Disclaimer: Due to the holiday, I missed my reviews from this week, and would like to go back and do them. So this is the beginning!
This was a good issue. Definitely one that has to be read carefully, because it was hard to follow, and the confusion that it caused at first was a little nerve racking. But once things got going, it was alright.
I sort of feel that from issue 2 to 3, things were a little rushed. I don't feel that the battle between the JLA & Avengers was resolved, but rather stopped. I definitely feel that they should've invested more time into that aspect, as it was the hook of the series.
But despite feeling like the floor fell out from under me, pace-wise, it was still a solid issue!

The issue was great. There were some really cool things, including Superman actually inflicting pain on Bizarro, by maiming him!
However, the enthusiasm for this series died, due to the fact that we had to wait four months for the final issue. I think that fact tarnished what was otherwise a great mini!
The art was decent, at best, but the story was well written.

I'm really digging the "Dragnet" aspect of this story. I like it because it's different, well-written, and suspenseful. I'm not digging the art, but the story more than makes up for it IMO.

Well, finally we have an issue of Flash where things get to rockin. This title was heading south on my subscription list in a hurry. It has taken far too long for the arc to move along, but we have finally reached that point. All is getting back to normal in Keystone City.
Cpt. Cold although lame in terms of name and outfit, is a great villain. Johns, shows his brash behavior well in this issue.
Still having trouble digesting Dose's artwork.
