Good enough figure but their real value lies in the higher point games, i.e. 600+. Not a fan of the sculpt job for Wanda either, as her hands just look unnatural and the flat two dimensional energy radiating from them is annoying as well. My Wanda also has an ear painted on over her mask/helmet thing. Really? Simon though, is a win in my book. I'll be fielding them a couple more times in order to give them another chance to prove their worth, but frankly I'm possibly going to just use them as fodder to get something else.
I hate that there is no way in modern age, and possibly golden age that this character can be merged into. The highest I found for either character was 75 and 145 which only equals up to 220. This thing is over priced for that reason alone. If you are going to do these duos... why not make merge-able characters within the same set. we've seen 4 new simon williams (Hollywood counts), and one new stand alone Scarlet Witch. Come on Wizkids. I call Shenanigans.
You can always merge into this character if you start two figures of higher point value. I think it's pretty evil to have a Mystics character (Scarlet Witch) that can heal all the way back up to full through the Merge ability on this figure.
I dub this piece, "Colossal Slayer." So many of the large colossal's these days say they ignore Outwit, Exploit Weakness, and Penetrating/Psychic Blast. There abilities can't be countered yada yada.
So in a 1200 point game I field this team and a team of Mystics GG Dr. Strange, DC52 Enchantress, Queen of Fables, Morgan Le Fay, Black Hand Daredevil and Silver Banshee. So many others send out the Colossal's. Galactus, Fin Fang Foom, the Spectre all made appearances. I got matched up against Spectre round one and unfortunately lost but it was darn close.
The next matchup was against Fin Fang Foom. And due to the specific wording of Chaos Magic I got two turns where I completely took away his defensive powers. I pushed everyone and launched all out attacks. With all those probability Controls and perplexes backing up all my attacks Fin Fang Foom went down like a load of bricks. And that's why this combo fig is incredible in higher point games. It's wording is specifically designed to give you a shot at taking down colossals that can't be countered. Every turn you have a 33% chance of taking away the other characters defensive power as long as you have the white power.
