If any Mystical being from this set deserved the Mystics TA, it's this one. But that is one wicked-sick dial so I am really not complaining. Not at all.

Oh my he is good. His dial is very powerful Power cosmic, running, psy blast sp and outwit!
The thing I like the most of him is his My Nightmare or Yours trait. Basically if your opponents goes first, he chooses the map but gets -1 to all his attack values until Nightmare is in the game or your opponent could simply let you go first and doing so let you decide the map.

That Trait is great. Let him get map choice or suffer.

What a remake! Excellent partner for Dark Phoenix on a Deity theme. For the cost, not as efficient as the Rookie (110 point) version.

This set is becoming one of my favorites I want all figures, except for Spiderman's character that I am so burried. Nightmare and dark illutions wow!

Something is wrong with this Nightmare. The images we'd been shown showed him with removable demons. So does that imply that Nightmare is going to have a second appearance? Or worse.... A prime?

oleandervine, to which images of Nightmare are you referring? All I've seen at the time of this writing is Blackheart. He was shown multiple times in various places and with removable demons. I think you might be mixing the characters up. From the picture I've seen of the recently revealed Nightmare, his sculpt is bang on perfect.

Now, as for the dial: he has amazing potential for board control. 1) Forcing your opponent to turn over 1st round priority (and thus choice of map) is unprecedented 2) Healing every time an opponent takes pushing damage (so Outwitting Indom and Willpower is all the more useful) 3) High damage Psychic Blast with Running Shot and an already high attack of 12 that will be easy to get to a 13, but could even reach a 15 when two targets are drawn!

Wow. Too bad he's a super rare. Nice to see an old favourite from IC back in the game.

This figure you are thinking about is Blackheart, not Nightmare.

"Welcome to my Nightmare; I think you're gonna like it!" I really liked the original Nightmare (partly being that he was the first severely rare figure I ever got) but this just blows him out of the water, VERY cool ability set
