Welcome to the Weekly Marvel Comics Review Thread!
Every week we'll put up a "sticky" thread like this one so people can review and discuss the current weeks Marvel comics.
The threads will stay at the top of the Marvel Comics forum from Wednesday afternoon until the next Wednesday morning, after which time they'll be "unstuck" and return to their chronological spot in the forum, to be replaced by the current week's thread. Each thread will be marked with the ! icon.

Wow, amazing action. Just amazing. The artwork here is better then it was during the Ultimates vs Hulk fight waaaaaaaay back when. And does anyone else but me LOVE the badass Captain America? I love him.
This is a great title but it has an ending that leaves me wanting MORE MORE MORE.

Ultimate Spider-Man #50
The double size really helps this issue ALOT. The first half is the action. Black Cat(She looks stunning) breaking into a building, stealing a tablet, and her confronting Spider-Man. The second half is pure MJ and Pete development. We also meet MJ's father!
But, perhaps one of the more interesting things was the letter collum. "What will happen to Gwen Stacey, will she get involved with Peter?"

This one post has made me reconsider my whole opinion of the Ultimates. Maybe I will pick it up and give it a second chance.
Have not had the chance to read my books this month except for Cap. And it was one heck of an intro for the new creative team and supposedly new direction for Cap.
I know there have been grumblings about the new appearance of how Cap is now being drawn but I kind of like the new look. The story was okay, just your average set up for the arc. But I did like some of the interaction between Cap and the public. Nice sound jumping point overall. I liked it. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the story plays out.

Everywhere you look, there's a freaking Monkey doing his business!
Since you 'stole' the reviews on the two titles from Marvel I read, I'll just add my comments to yours.

The ending of issue #11 made me think that there was going to be some serious carnage in this issue. And then this issue took, what? Four months to get here?
Honestly, I think it was worth the wait. Thor proving that he is the true god of thunder ... Cap taking care of business, especially since it ended with him cutting the alien Nazi in half with his shield while shouting one of the best quotes in a long time ...
The only part I didn't get was Tony Stark's meltdown. Sure, I understand that he's just a man in a big metal suit. But, the whole "I'm not good enough for this" business just seemed out of character for what we've seen from him thus far in the title ... but, I can deal with that.
The thing I didn't get is: What kind of statement were they trying to make by having the army guys shove the little kid to the ground that was giving Tony the thumbs up?

This issue wasn't altogether horrible, but it didn't really do anything for me. I mean, all of the other issues I've liked ...
This issue? Well, it just seemed like they were forced to introduce Black Cat this month so they had to find some way to throw that in and then needed some story to go around it so they put that together ... I guess it all just seemed a little 'forced'. Maybe that's just me ...
Also, I'm not entirely sure that Gwen Stacey isn't the Black Cat. I mean, that was my initial impression when I first saw her. And, while I know they aren't the same people in the 'regular' Marvel Universe, if they aren't planning on killing her off in this universe that might be one way to revamp both characters at the same time ...

Yep, Ultimates 12 was deffinitely worth the wait. Lots of great action, along with the other quotes that have been mentioned one of my favorites came from Thor.
In response to Fury's comment: "I thought he was a pacifist?"
"A pacifist with a big scary hammer!" With a bloodlusty grin. That was great, just great.
Ultimate Spidey, liked it but I think they overdid the whole Badluck thing.
I also decided to pick up the new issue of the Exiles.
I think that I may have to start reading this title, and if not deffinitely the ones with the weapon X team. Spider is just too cool, in a murderous sort of way. And I really like the whole Hyperion "rape" Thing of Warbird. These are deffinitely not your Sunday Morning heros. And the brief shot of Iceman makes me want more, maybe we can see him once again as the man he was in AoA!
X-Treme X-men: I am almost getting fed up with this title. There just never seems to be any full resolution to the issues at hand. The whole X-Corp being taken over by Bogan? "We'll look into it" What's up with Rogue? "She doesn't exist" It builds at a slow rate and then just fades away. Makes all the story arcs seem kind of pointless. And what is the deal with Gambit and Storm!!!!! I am not sure that I like the direction that that is going in.
Supreme Power five : Awesome book, simply awesome. When Hyperion tried on the glasses I nearly busted a gut laughing. This is now my favorite marvel title followed by the Inhumans.
Avengers 74: It was so so. I loved the interaction between She Hulk and Banner but that's about it.
Hawkeye :2
I am really disappointed in this book. I don't think I'll be readding it if it doesn't improve by next issue.
