Btw- Anyone ever done an Impossible Man with the symbiote storyline before?! That could be crazy fun!
Awesome! I got it right. I dont think I've ever gotten to answer one of these right before someone else got it yet! I knew it wasn't Captain Universe (thats just a silly guess)
Seeing this thread and question just made me want to dig out that old issue from my storage too. I think it was between issues 430 and 450. I know it was after clone saga but not that long after. The issue cover had Carnage riding the surfboard with Spidey swinging behind him. That was like the coolest cover ever when I was 12, lol.
So I get to ask a question then? I'm gonna stick with the Spidey theme and kick it old school Clone Saga style. I'll make it an easy one
In what John Romita Jr illustrated story does Kaine lose his last grips on humanity and is pushed over the edge while Ben Reilly is given a boost in character development with historical context in the marvel 616 universe?

Was that the storyline entitled, "The Day Of The Jackel Getting Lucky With Gwen Stacy" about the Jackel releasing a certain type of home movie made popular by Pam Anderson Lee ???

I'm sorry to say that wasn't the storyline in question.
I guess I'll just answer it since no one seems to be getting it. The correct answer was Spider-Man: The Lost Years.
Its a really awesome story about both Ben Reilly and Kaine in the time when Reilly was in exile traveling America. One of my top 10 Spidey stories. Very well written.
I can't think of another Spidey question off the top of my head so I'll hand it off to the next poster with a good Spidey themed question.
Oh... and please check out that lost years story. its very very good.
As it seems that the turnout for this thread has tapered off over the last several months, I've decided to close this and the other 2012 trivia thread.
That said, I have now opened a new thread for comicbook trivia and it's dedicated to multiple comicbook publishers rather then one specific company.
