I was curious about a situation that arose in last nights game. A non-flying charging character charged to make an attack against a character that was in the second square of hindering terrain. The charger entered hindering terrain and was adjacent to the target.
Under the old rules, the charger would have to stop once he hit the hindering terrain and could NOT attack because his move would be ended and Charge was a move action.
Under the new rules, the movement portion of the Charge power action would end whn he entered hindering terrain, but he could still perform a free close combat attack against an adjacent target.
I ruled that a non-flying charger could perform a close combat attack after he was stopped by the hindering terrain. Am I correct?
