So I'm creating a 400pt team and I have 60 points left!

I'm deciding between CW036 Tigra and IH041 Ka-Zar
which do you think is better and why?

Personally, I prefer Tigra. However, if you are running Shanna then you absolutely want Ka-Zar.

Tigra's blades minimum 2 damage along with 4 clicks of mobility are better than Ka-Zar's stealth and no movement abilities.

Good point, I was wondering if the duo attack gave him an edge over her, but I see her value. The rest of my team consists of CW029 Wolverine CW100 Vision IH011 Punisher (I know it seems a bit random but we have to play a wolverine and I really want to try out CW100 vision) How do you think the team will fare? Your imput is greatly appreciated!

On the right map I think you could do ok. You could probably make an Avengers theme team out of this if you drop Punisher. If you have the figures, try this one:

Wolverine GSXFF 75
Tigra 57
Vision 185
Sharon Carter 45
Donald Blake 33

Sharon needs to stay next to vision to Shield him up and keep him in stealth. Wolverine has stealth already and can advance slowly. Donald Blake is there for support and to AE into Thor if needed. Tigra cleans up anything Vision and Wolverine don't take out. Only real issue you'll have is a Stealth heavy team.

yeah i like this, i dont play Marvel anymore, but under your specs for the game i would build something similar if not spot on

That sounds really awesome, unfortunately i don't have either Wolverine GSXFF or Sharon Carter. Would cw037 Spider-Woman work in the fact that shes stealth, she could shield vision (and she has stealth I know it doesnt help vision) but she can use her pheromones to add to visions attack or if needed I can lock her in with any opposing character to subtract their defence by 1 and I guess I'd have to lock wolverine in with their strongest player so that his "best there is" power would help? then tigra can clean up? Sorry I havn't used any of these pieces yet and I've never played with anyone but my friends so I really appreciate help to get a comepetitive edge!

lol, i run into that problem a lot. i just recently started playing ONLY DC and some Indy, and its SSSOOO hard to fill in point gaps in Teams lol, i always think i have just the piece just to find out that its just to much, usually over just by a few points!!!!

haha I agree, the problem is this is the only wolverine I have access to as well (and I'm borrowing him as it is) I'm also fairly new although I play marvel and DC but seperately I try not to mix and match the two universes within teams. I also dont have that many of the older figures before galactic guardians and chaos wars.
Atleast the tournament isnt until saturday so I guess I still have time although this may take awhile

yeah, Avengers is the strongest Keyword for Marvel i think, so i think what ever you put together in the end will do you just fine. dont forget Avenger ATAs, there are a few and they all can be useful...i am not familiar with that particular Wolverine, but i think there is an ATA for The Hand, and he might have the Keyword.but in my experience sometimes playing that ATA on a decent to crappy Team has actually tipped the scales in my favor.

ahh my Venue does that Silver Age stuff, where we can play just about anything but Feats, BFCs, Event Dials, and certain Colossal. and the IG is usually not allowed for more than one game a month.

This is actually the venues first event so I think they are just testing the waters :/

well good luck, i love new venues, would love to get one started up closer to where i live, its a bit of a journy to get to the ones closest, and i only walk and occasionally take public transportatoin
