Thank you for giving so much useful follow up info on this. I always liked using super strength to pull people out of stealth when they were standing on objects. I guess no more. Thanks again.
Why no more?
It is still totally doable. Maybe not quite as easy as you first thought, sure, but still a very effective way to neutralize a Stealth character.
A non flyer w/ super strength cannot charge an opposing figure, pick an object up the opposing character is standing on, and smash him with it.
If your figure begins your turn next to an opposing figure thats standing on an object, you need to make a break away roll to pick the object up from under the opposing character and smash him with it?

Almost. If the Charging character has Improvement Moment: Characters, it will always be able to pick up an object during movement (barring something special)

Depends on what exactly you mean by this.
If we're still talking about Charge, sure. You say, "My character is going to use Charge and try to break away..." and roll your dice. If it works, pick up the object, complete your move, and then attack.
If instead we're talking about any old character with Super Strength, but no way to both move and attack, then not quite. Instead, what you'd do is try to move (and roll break away) so you can pick up the object. Then, the next turn, you could smash away.
I didnt even think of that! If a character has only SS he would have to spend one turn picking up object (moving) then another turn smashing with it! So just SS would actually take 3 turns to move adjacent, pick up object, and smash with it. Wow, I know Ive been doing that wrong.
I guess its another example why HSS is so much better.

Since you would have to clear, 4 turns. Unless you are using Masters of Evil or some such thing.
These basic rules reviews are great to read every now and then. Though I've been playing since Hypertime, I find that every once in a while I come across a scenario that everyone should know rock-solid, and yet we all look up and say, "Wait, that's right, right?"
This thread should be posted on the home page for a few days. Overall Heroclix play would improve noticeably.
