OK, this is kinda complicated to explain but I'll give it a shot...
- I know that I read somewhere that characters are able to move THROUGH squares containing FRIENDLY figures.
- I know that figs without flying/phasing/leapclimb/hss must stop when entering a square adjacent to an OPPOSING figure.
Now, given those facts, this is the situation:
__ = blocking terrain (wall)
O, E = opposing figures
F = friendly figure (mine)
E
_____O_______
x F
can figure "E" get to the square marked with an X?
He would have to go THROUGH his ally "O" who is adjacent to my figure "F", then move diagonally to X.
Would he have to stop adjacent to F (directly outside the door) or can he get to X?
I'm having a little trouble understanding the situation. I'll try using code tags to see if I understand it correctly.
Code:
E
_O_
XF
E wants to move to X but has no powers that allow them to move through squares adjacent to opposing figures without stopping, correct? ie. they don't have HSS, Leap/Climb/... and are not a flier?
If that's the case then no, E can not move to X. If they did move into the square where O is they would have to stop because they became adjacent to F. Since two figures can't occupy the same square this move would be illegal.
