Ok, so I searched the Rules of Combat and didn't find anything regarding my question. Here's WoS Mysterio's trait which I'm sure most are familiar with:
MIND-NUMBING GAS: Opposing characters that occupy a square with a hindering terrain marker placed by Mysterio at the beginning or end of an action can't use Indomitable, Super Senses, or Willpower until the end of that turn.
So my question is pretty simple. If I run WoS Mysterio with other Mysterios will his trait activate when the other Mysterios use Smoke Cloud? Yes, I know I may be reaching a bit, BUT there were other Mysterios with Smoke Cloud before WoS and the trait doesn't specify "THIS" Mysterio.
It will only apply to the WOS Mysterio, it is a trait that that figure has. The other Mysterios from previous sets will not follow with the ability because they were before those came about and does not apply to them.

So what about the ones that came after? I realize it's a stretch, but I know someone besides me will bring it up at my venue and I think there's precedent for other character's with the same name activating powers/abilities/traits. I really want an Orange ruling on this. I'll accept either ruling, just need a ruling.
This seems similar to the trait that Green Lantern in DC10th had.
Green Lantern 004 Has that ability to punch a fist from a barrier he creates, but people were assuming it could be any barrier because it didnt specifically say Green Lantern's barrier until it was updated.
I'd say based on that clarification, its just the Mysterio with the trait who can use the trait.

Agreed. While it would be awesome, if any Mysterio could use that ability it would be ridiculously broken.
When a character refers to its own name on a card it means that specific figure, always. Otherwise there are a million broken problems that would arise. Any self reference of any figure would affect every other figure with the same name on the map, and there are tons of those.

Actually, the precedent is for the reverse:

If a power is meant to refer to other instances of that character, it will say "characters named Mysterio" or "[ASM] #026 Mysterio", etc.
"Things which might lack clarity now will be sure to reflect those intentions."

Unless is says "A figure named Mysterio", it only applies to itself.
Example: Wong, ASM # 23
Quote
MASTER AND SERVANT: When Wong is adjacent to a character named Dr. Strange, modify Wong's attack value by +1 and Dr. Strange's defense value by +1 if not already modified by this effect.
Notice how it says Wong (Just Wong, himself) vs Character named Dr. Strange? This power would only affect Wong for attack value, but any and all characters named Dr. Strange from any set would receive the defense bonus when adjacent. (Not Stephen Strange, or any other derivative, to be clear)
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!
