Decided to get this one up while it was fresh in my mind. Take your time with it.

1) String Driven Thing - of course this was the reason I did this set. I love getting exposure to bands like these from the 70s. Now if only iTunes would get their first two albums in their inventory.

2) Uriah Heep - I don't hate Uriah Heep. Easy Livin' is huge favorite.

3) Argent - not a favorite Argent song but I didn't hate it.

4) Passenger - listenable

5) Lenny Kravitz - Never a big fan

6) Eric Clapton

7) Erasure

8) Britney Spears

Had a helluva time tracking most of these songs down. Typing Circus in search for YouTube doesn't exactly trigger musical results.

Eric Clapton - this one just pulled me right into it. Very enjoyable.

Uriah Heep - All around good listen.

Erasure - has a fun 80's feel to it and I liked the calliope effect.

String Driven Thing - Well that was interesting. Not in the "interesting as a euphemism for bad" way. In a genuinely interesting way.

Lenny Kravitz - Well done song. Generally not his biggest fan, but I liked this one.

Argent - This one didn't really do much for me.

Britney Spears - I'm prepared to be forgiving of a pure pop/dance/club song if it catches me ear the right way. This one didn't do that.

Passenger - I may catch flak for ranking Britney Spears higher, but this song was just really not my style.

Ah! Something fun for Saturday!!

1. Uriah Heep - smooth vocals and just the right length.

4. Lenny Kravitz - ok, I guess, just not really that interesting and I normally enjoy some Kravitz.
5. Eric Clapton - Good guitar playing, obviously, but it doesn't grab me.
6. Britney Spears - pop fluff.
7. Erasure
8. Passenger - METALARGGH!!!

I was surprised by the sad and/or dirgy tone of several of these. Really surprised by the new to me String Driven Thing, and just as surprised that I liked the Kravitz song quite a bit. Enjoyed these, thanks!

1- String Driven Thing- Never heard of them before, but REALLY like it!!
2- Lenny Kravitz- After a couple of listens, I had to move this one up; its pretty easy to enjoy this through several listens. Surprised myself that I like it better than Uriah Heep.
3- Uriah Heep- One of my favorite groups ever. Not nearly my favorite song by them, but its always good to hear the softer side of Uriah Heep.
4- Passenger- Nice, heavier tune.
5- Erasure- I liked it well enough as it started, but it became boring fairly quickly.
6- Eric Clapton- Sad song in a sad time of life, but didn't really convey the emotion as well as some of his others did.
7- Argent- I've heard Argent for years, and this is one of my least favorite songs by them.
8- Britney Spears- I like some Britney, but not this one so much. Feels like the song was built around a dance, rather than the other way around. That's not always bad, but this dance has been done a billion times before and after.

It doesn't look like Soxolas is going to get to this one, so might as well put up the numbers.
