First issue of Ultimate Fantastic Four will be available later this month; my local shop has my order on file, and they should call when it comes in (same for the rest of Ultimate Six).

It's scheduled to be released on the 31st.

I've seen a preview of it in Wizard, it looks interesting. Thank god that both Brian Micheal Bendis AND Mark Millar are working on it.

It's scheduled to be released on Dec. 31st, but shops in the US won't be getting their shipments until Jan. 2nd due to the holiday.

The delay will likely depend upon where you live. In my area, the only time comics are delayed is if a holiday falls on a Monday (unless the holiday falls on a Sunday, and the teamsters feel cheated and take off on Monday anyway!). Since Christmas is on Thursday, there should be no delay to most stores. While the 31st is a quasi-holiday, comics actually ship to the stores on the 30th (or at least that is the case at my store).

The following two weeks' shipments may be delayed though-as Thursday is a shipping day for the following week. So depending where you live, your comics for the two weeks may be delayed.

I heard it was mainly Mark Miller working on it. Bendis is just on the inspiration staff, or whatever it's called.

According to BMB, the exact opposite is the case. He supposedly takes Millar out drinking while discussing the story, and MM just agrees with all of BMB's ideas because he's too drunk to argue!
