Assuming that the Arc Reactor SP's text is accurate at this time, you may continue to make ranged attacks indefinitely with a diminishing attack score as long as you don't roll a 1-4. And even if you DO roll the unavoidable damage, you could make three shots for free if you began at the first SP click (possibly without suffering the attack penalty - I'm a little unsure as to whether this follows the same rules as regular Perplex). Any way you look at it, a very interesting SP with some potential for abuse.
He's the best of the movie Iron Men imo, and its nice to be able to say that of a piece that is in the base set and not the starter or gravity feed. The lack of an 18 defense and 11 attack is an easier pill to swallow at 160 compared to the starter version at 200, especially with his tasty Initiative TA allowing him to bust stealth. I love his middle clicks: if he isn't based you can "double shoot" someone for potentially 6 damage ignoring stealth, and if he is based you can Force Blast it and follow it up with the free attack. There is some risk there and he is more of a "thinking man's" piece as a result; he'll do best with some support from SHIELD, scientists, or his fellow Avengers to help him hit more often and patch him up.

Pretty sure each character can only take 1 free action a turn.
I like this Iron Man, kinda reminds me of the Marvel Vs Capcom version.
No, you can take as many Free Actions as you want in a turn. You can't, however, take the SAME free action more then once, unless the power specifically states you can. So if you have Outwit, Perplex and a SP that gives a free action attack, you can do all 3.

That's Dr. Smart-@$$, thank you, I didn't spend eight years in insult college to be called Mister.
Decent upgrade of Ultimate Iron Man from Avengers. Seems a little more realistic to grant him a free attack (with penalty), than deal him 2 damage with the potential to deal less than his printed damage. Nice!
Thanks to Hero for Hire, n3verkn0wsbe5t, and Arctarus for clearing up my rules error. I haven't been able to keep the rules clear since the Avengers/Justice League changes, so it's no surprise to me that I got that one wrong.
Great for the points! AVI TA helps a lot making sure no +1 from hindering or Stealth to ruin his day. Steady combat values all throughout as well. Only caveat is no up-front or late dial OW or Perplex and no Regen at the back-end.
Having played this figure I can tell you that he busts out a can of whoop ###! But...he always died, in the end he always became the focus of my opponents and couldn't hold off the assault of two bricks (or even one at one point). A great figure, a pretty dang good sculpt, and a cinema accurate Ironman.
Wow, plays ALOT Better then I thought he would. Force blast a mean CC attacker away from you, then arc reactor chest beam his ###. Teamed him with HoT Rhodey and rocked a gauntlet clad Surfer.
Love that click #2. Avengers Initiative TA and Outwit. Outwit stealth on a figure in stealth so your team can tear them up from range. I hate to say push off of Impervious... but
