The only figures that do are the ones specifically named "Tony Stark", "Iron Man", and "Ultron". ONLY, sadly. This rules out all the old Ultron-X figures, LMD, and everything else "Close".
Of course, it does mean older "Tony Stark", "Iron Man", and "Ultron"s of any sets work...
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!
It sucks that these guys don't work with any of the Iron Men from IM3.
The good news is that the Tony Stark from IM3 is insanely good and fits the requirements to power the drones.
TEAL? Teal is for people who have not yet mastered sarcasm to the point it is always evident, even in text form
I really love these guys during gameplay, because they're some of the most mobile and versatile generics I've ever seen. It irks me that a lot of the "Iron Man Mk X" figures can't empower them, and it irks me even more than no version of Unarmored "Tony Stark" can be keyword-tastic with them. Still, the 10 or so I have still see plenty of use from me.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
would their power work with Iron man and War machine or Iron man and Iron patriot?
If you were to house rule it I'd say sure, but in a tournament/event setting it wouldn't work. Kinda like Iron Spider doesn't trigger the M10 Green Goblin's trait, because even though the qualifying character is essentially there, the name has to match up.
My favorite 600pt team consists of 6 of these, and HoT ultron. I've played it 3 times, and won all 3.
But once the book of the skull is complete these will be even more @$$-kickier than they already were.
Why? Outwit/poison rules. I can elaborate if needed.

I'm sure you've seen it by now, but the IIM Tony Stark has the "Armor" keyword. So you could get theme benefits, free move action, Mind Control one to take an action, then take it's regular action. Lots of fun.

I believe the other post was more upset that the unarmored Starks cannot team with them, like the CW AE Tony Stark or the AVM GF Tony Stark. The AVM Stark boosts robots and armored allies while debuffing opposing characters with those keywords, yet he posesses neither.
I just noticed the strangest thing. My Iron man drone is totally wrong and yet not totally wrong. The disk and sculpt are fine and click 12 clearly shows the symbol for chaos war and 002. The dial is even split for the lower point value choice. Yet everything else is crazy overpowered. He starts with 9 running shot, 11 attack, 17 impervious, and 4 damage. He has 8 clicks of life. Click 2 has 17 invulnerability, 9 charge, and 3 exploit weakness.
His 30 point dial stars with flurry, 10 attack, 16 defense, and 2 close combat expert.
So... Not really sure what I'm looking at. Any thoughts?
