I can see this guy being really hard to beat at 300 if he has hurt your team before he gets to that last click. That great last click is going to keep him around and around.

This is just not a 300 point dial
Not really sure what they were doing including this guy in the set
I mean I'm a fan of trigon and all but honestly this is a terrible dial at 300 points
He would get wrecked by almost any team, tentpole or otherwise
You're praying to get the JLA Team Base as you open your box then this devil smiles at you. I was like. (O_o) <--loser. But honestly Mystics TA with the stop at 19 def and regen is a fun mystics damage loop. But then there is poison! From a flock of bats or Krakoa earthquake! Poor Trigon... Tips on playing: 1. Don't forget mystics damage, this is you're best offense. 2. Always perplex up your defense. 3. Avoid pushing colossal stamina to last click 15, you need mystics damage.
At three hundred points, this guy is absolute elegance in game design. A perfect rope-a-dope figure. The starting barrier special power is a perfect tool to flush out opposing players. Since it is a free action, they have to bring the attack to Trigon. Yes, Trigon will get whollaped. But the mystics damage does quite a bit to bring down opposing figures. And eventually Trigon gets to his Pulse Wave clicks to further damage the entire opposing forces. If an opposing figure refuses to close the distance to within PW range, they cannot prevent Trigon from just shooting them because of Colossal Stamina.
The real beauty to this figure is the stop click, 19 defense, perplex, super senses, probability control and regen. Your opponent needs to be able to not only hit Trigon hard enough to get him to his stop click, but somehow still have the resources available to get past that monstrous last click on the very same turn, or he'll just regen back above the stop click. And when he regens, it just brings him back up to his pulse wave clicks. Sheer brilliance.
In our sealed Titans tourny, I pulled this guy and wrecked. Sure he was brought to his last click multiple times in every match of the night. But that was actually the plan. And it worked. Keys to playing him in a 300 pt match; make yourself a target, but don't make it super easy. Use the barrier power to threaten weaker figures and flush your opponent into attacking. Try to park yourself in hindering and prioritize your targets. Take out any pulse wave figures first, followed by penetrating damage dealers and figures that can increase damage dealt. Followed by characters who can increase the likelyhood of connecting on that last stop click. And NEVER colossal push. You need to conserve every last click of mystics damage you can.
Too bad Trigon isn't closer to 200 points with this dial, as he'd fun to use with Raven, White Witch or another Mystical character in a 300 point setting. :/
