I have a very munchkin-ish question. This isn't something I ever intend to do, I'm just curious if it would be legal. (I might as well ask the question; someone else would so if I didn't.)
It's a safe bet that we'll be seeing figures of The Worthy and The Mighty show up in constructed games in the near future. I think that all the figures we've seen previewed have "Revert" on their dials, where you replace the figure that's on the board with an "ordinary" version of the same character.
Could someone bring the ordinary version, say a low-point Hawkeye, on their sideboard and then use Mind Control to force the opponents "Mighty" Hawkeye to revert to the one with the smaller point value?
If that's allowable, what happens when the replacement figure doesn't have enough clicks of health to stay in the game? Would that be an auto-KO?
I'm also curious. Since the character is being MC'd, wouldn't the replacement need to come from your sideline? Planning on adding 16+ cheaper versions of those characters as precautionary measure?
The more important issue may be that the replacement would also be considered friendly for the duration of the action. KO'ing that character in that manner will only award your opponent victory points.
In Modern Age games, the Mighty/Worthy are designed to prevent the replacement from being KO'd through Revert this way, though.

That's a very interesting point. One would want to make sure that the replacement Hawkeye has at least five clicks (where Revert happens on the Mighty version) if the KO would count towards your opponent's total.

How so? The Revert powers say to replace the Worthy/Mighty figure with the "ordinary" (my word) figure on the same click number. It doesn't say that it can't be a KO click.
You may only replace a character if that character began the game as part of your force.
