Please forgive me if these questions have already been asked and answered - I just recently got back into clix after a few years of absence. I have a few questions about what happens when figures are "replaced" by a game effect.

1. If I have a theme team (i.e. "Defenders" featuring Hank Pym) and I replace one of the characters in the team with another who doesn't share the chosen keyword (i.e. Ant Man), then:
a) Am I still allowed to use the Probability Control granted by a theme team?
b) If so, is the replacement character allowed to be given an action token for the use of this probability control?

2. Regarding the split/merge ability in relation to resources:
a) If I am using Nightwing (94 points) + Utility Belt and Batgirl (85 points) and "Merge" them into Nightwing and Batgirl (176 points), is the duo figure assigned the Utility Belt?
b) If so, and I later "split" them into Nightwing and Batgirl, would the Utility Belt be automatically assigned to Nightwing once more, could I choose which character to assign it to, or would it be assigned to both characters?
c) Similarly, if I begin the game with Nightwing and Batgirl (176 points) + Utility Belt and then "split" into Nightwing (94 points) and Batgirl (71 points), to whom would the utility belt be assigned?

3. Specifically regarding Dr. Doom and Kang's "Inavetable Betrayal" Special Power:
a) Since "Inevitable Betrayal" gives Dr. Doom and Kang and characters with can use the "Merge" combat ability, would it be possible to "Merge" Dr. Doom and Kang (300 points) with a character named Doctor Doom (68 points) or Kang (87 points) on Click #1, replacing them with Dr. Doom and Kang (300 points) on Click #1?
b) If so, would the replacement Dr. Doom and Kang still possess the and Probability Control or Outwit granted by "Inevitable Betrayal"?
c) Would inevitable betrayal be triggered a second time, since the replacement Dr. Doom and Kang is technically another figure?
d) If the answer to both b) and c) is yes, then would it be possible to choose Dr. Doom for one "Inevitable Betrayal" and Kang for the other, granting Dr. Doom and Kang both Probability Control and Outwit?
e) If the replacement Dr. Doom and Kang is NOT subject to the "Inevitable Betrayal" of the former Doctor Doom and Kang, would the replacement be able to "Split" back into the two figures which "Merged" to create it?
f) If so, would the replacement of the replacement Dr. Doom and Kang be effected by "Inevitable Betrayal" once more?
g) In any case, could the process be repeated ad nauseum - essentially sacrificing figures of a lower point value named Dr. Doom or Kang on a higher click number in order to replenish Dr. Doom and Kang?
h) ...what did I just type?

Any and all answers to the above questions would be greatly appreciated.

3a) no, because the characters name is still "dr. doom and kang," not "dr. doom" or "kang."
So none of the other related questions will come up.
