Grandmaster'a trait reads as follows:

Could I attach his gem to him and use the Gauntlet on another character? Seems like the answer should be no, but I'd like a definate ruling.

The answer is no. The Special object is not counted towards your object total but is still on your force, and that can't be done with the IG (or any Resource).

There are two exceptions, CA040 Captain America and CA Scorpio. And those are only legal because the objects they bring in dont count towards your force at all, so are not counted at all.

You'd need the line that says "this object doesn't count towards your FORCE" for it to slip by the Resources limitation, right?

THE SHIELD (LIGHT OBJECT): The Shield can't be destroyed, only #CA040 Captain America can hold or pick up The Shield. When used in a ranged attack, Captain America may target two characters and deals 3 damage to each hit character. After any attack using The Shield involves, place it in a square adjacent to a target's square. This object does not count toward your force.

Just like that

There is one more exception than just those 2, The Zombie LE from ASM has the same does not count towards your force line in his special object. I think those are the only 3 though.

They are my 2nd team after the Canucks. Been a fan since Stevie Y first appeared in the NHL, and he's my favorite player all time. Glad to see them get in, and hope they can beat the Ducks in the first round

D'oh! I thought I was forgetting somebody, but could only think of Harvest for newer figs and knew it wasn't him... I have them all written down somewhere as a team to play a Resource with, just because its possible.
