I played a casual match last night against Blixx, and it went well. I don't believe I encountered a single bug. I actually enjoyed it a lot, thanks in large part to a decent opponent, but also because for once nothing of note went wrong.
This is a first. I don't expect it to continue, but if it worked like this every time I might be enticed to part with my money and participate in tournaments.
For now, though, while it's true that I languor in the sting of a brutal loss at the hands of a Zuvembie swarm, I also revel in the fact that I had fun for an hour without complaint. It was so remarkable, I had to share.
Thanks for reading.
I won't look at your dial-on-card, I don't look at my own, and you don't need to see my DOC, ever. Otherwise, we're not playing HeroClix.
I don't even mind the odd bug in casual play because I'm not paying anything for that. But if a bug occurs in a tourney then I absolutely expect HCO to take care of me. Unfortunately, HCO's policy of "you still got to play" doesn't fit well with my expectations.
But even with bugs, casual matches are still fun with the right opponent.

See I just thought you paid the 2 bucks to get the game and everything in game was bought with virtual money. I would like to play with random players from wherever but I see so many things on here about the game itself that Im kinda meh on it.
I've encountered several games that had little bugs but none of it has been enough to really irritate me. I just try to shrug it off. But, if I paid to play a tourney and it affected my outcome or I still had to pay full price when the bug cost me a tourney win, I'd be a little annoyed to say the least.
But, as it stands, I still find HCO an enjoyable alternative when I can't get together with my buddies.
