i've been dyin for this guy to get remade, I always loved him in the comics. That double bladed sword looks just plain cool. I had just scooped up his previous incarnation last week. This one looks like they designed him with the same idea of how the character should be but with a modern sensibility for points and powers. I'm loving it and 73 pts. is super versatile for team building.
This fig, for me, provides further proof that WizKids is trying to tune the meta-game. Charge, Flurry, Blades and 11 AV opening at 73 points is mind-blowing. I have surprisingly few complaints regarding the X-Portal Trait because of the governing factors, but I consider it likely that Shatterstar here was designed to find a 72 point friend and dominate tournaments. I'm not a fan of that design philosophy.

Wolfsbane wxm072 has charge, flurry, b/c/f, is 63 points and shares several keywords.

If this is a comment on Shatterstar's balance compared to Wolfsbane, consider she also has an activation click, requiring some other mechanism to effectively deploy in combat before turn 4. With Magik, there's a natural synergy that allows you to do so, but Shatterstar only costs 10 points more and can deploy on turn 1. Anywhere on the map. With a friend.
