I recently picked up the "Thanos Rising" issues 1-4 while on vacation, and I must say I am very happy with the new art and storyline tweaks. They seem to have developed a more "internal" psyche perspective that really helped flesh out my favorite villain of all time.
I was going to get the digital copy so I can go ahead and read it, but that seems like it would be cheating
I think the Marvel team made a good choice by selecting Bianchi for the art. I wish there was a tad more "internal" dialogue from Aaron but the way he incorporated Lady Death was just...jaw dropping. I couldnt be more pleased with this line.
Anyway, what is everyone else's thoughts? Any other true Thanos fans out there with some input? Anyone upset over the elimination of Starfox? (I'm not lol)
I can't wait for 8/28! Ive aready pre-ordered my copy!

Reason: Forgot something
Its a great series so far for me. I know others dont like the psychotic tendencies of Thanos, but I enjoy it more because of them. I think this story is adding a sense of realism to the character.
GWAR CLIX PLEASE
I have an extra Mikhail Rasputin card and need an Exodus card. Are you my soul mate? Pm me.
Sense of realism? To the cosmic mad titan from Infinity Gauntlet that wanted the Infinity Gauntlet to win over the avatar of Death in Marvel?
Lady Death is not a Marvel character, unless she just came over recently when Angela did and it somehow went unannounced.
I've always understood Thanos as a smart guy that's not particularly evil, just looking to do anything and everything it takes for the love of his lady, Mistress Death, though she will never return the feelings, so it's an unrequited love. Thanos is basically friend zoned by Mistress Death.
I really don't want to read the Anakin Skywalker version of Thanos, as I imagine they make him really whiny and soft, much like Anakin Skywalker in those prequels. But at least there's probably no pod racing.
