Agreed not the best team base but I like this base and the Brotherhood one simply because they are not extremely powerful but have really good specials. I am hoping to get a superbooster with this and the brotherhood base in it! Those are the two I want the most!

So, my card says: White King: If an action token would be given to Hellfire Club: Inner Circle, instead no action tokens are given. When Excalibur takes damage, after actions resolve, roll a d6 and turn the asset dial that many times to the left.
On here, it reads ' White King: ......When Hellfire Club: Inner Circle takes damage ....'
Is my card wrong, or did it get entered wrong into the site?
When running a Hellfire Club theme in larger point builds (400+), this is the version to use. The upgrade to Impervious, PB/B and 5 damage is worth the cost increase. Black King is the ideal choice to detach for Solo Adventure, as his asset power is very situational; Black Queen's asset ability will heal both the HC and a detached BK.

I'm pretty sure the answer is that the site has the intended wording and the card is a misprint. I hate to join the quality control gripe group for this set, but...hard not to. Ignoring misprints, I really love the way this dial pans out. It's hard to compete on the power level of JLA and SIG TBs, but the full 280/300 Hellfire club just looks FUN. I definitely hope to get my hands on the complete group and like dariusq am looking forward to using Hellfire Club Guards to extend their longevity and pure evil potential. If I can finagle a Silver Age or Golden Age game, you can bet the original Hellfire Guards led by Wade Cole are coming out in force too! Unfortunately, the GSX guards can't actually protect each other using the original guards as fodder, but that weakness can be planned around. ***commences evil plotting***

Yeah, I assumed the card was a misprint. It's sad, but seems to fit with what we've seen.
I LOVE this base. My black queen is on her way, but my group has allowed a 'Gentlemens Rule' that allows me to use her asset, but not take her solo. The Mastermind from White Queen to dump damage onto Black King makes for a ridiculous combo at 300. There is no reason not to pull him off early, and no reason to think about anyone else going solo. I think this base will get under estimated, and that makes it DEADLY.
Just fought these guys with my Immortus, Chaos war Kang and like 7 space Phantoms (2-45 point versions 5-60 point versions) Honestly, if I had fought them ONE ON ONE...I think I could've beaten them or at least provided a good match. I had the base outranged and had over six sources of probability control, outwit and a crap ton of tie up potential. Outranging them forced them to use their working together to move out of stealth just to attack, which puts them in MY range allowing me to attack. Although the base showed its power by triple attacking my kang basically killing him in one turn. I did manage to outaction them and outwit their stealth just in case they tried to move back into hindering. I phase in with a single 60 point space phantom and outwit their impervious. I now have ONE space phantom tying down the hellfire teambase, black king (solo adventure ) three guards, Trevor Fitzroy and harry Leland. Mathematically the space phantom SHOULD'VE died in one turn with over 8 attacks against him. He effectively tied up and prevented movement from the teambase for over three rounds! Rolling for supersenses, impervious and probability control also preventing the hellfire club from rerolling via probability because of immortus! Another space phantom (45pts) effectively shut down the awesome power of mastermind in the other side of the team. Had it just been my team against them, only requireing two phantoms to shut down the team.....I might've had a chance.
Unfortunately it was a free for all with 5 players. I had an X-men gold teambase coming up from the left OBLITERATING multiple space phantoms, basically weakening my chance to fight the hellfire club. It isn't his fault....his opponent was playing a superman set Zod with kryptonian soldiers/scientist and basically ran away. With their full retreat behind my forces it left immortus literally surrounded by the hellfire club and xmen gold base. But I hung in there! Immortus outwitted hellfire indomitable and incapacitated both hellfire and gold base thus forcing hellfire to take pushing! I fought a valiant fight and time was called before immortus was able to be koed. Teambases are tough.....but not undeflatable. Can't wait to take another whack at em!
I played these guys, used working together, moved, attacked, then solo adventure off Black King. He is mastermind fodder for the team base, only making him Stronger when he takes damage. Brutal.
As the info is not I'm the units section and I don't't have the figures on hand, I assume you mean that they have a yellow starting line but no blue one. If so, this makes them start at the yellow line when Solo from the 200 point base. Of course, this means it would still make more sense if the line was blue, but it should still preform the same function. If there is a yellow and a blue, then I have no idea.

Nevermind, lol. I figured it out after reading the rules about the bases. The yellow start clicks for Solo are there if the base takes damage and you choose to Solo if the dial has swung past it's yellow line.
