I don't know that 5 damage with outwit and 12 attack with one damage that can't be avoided. Yeah I guess that's only his first click, but he does get regeneration and if your lucky you can get to his 4rth click. I mainly like the bonuses of Mighty Revert :P
You can't Mighty Revert into the 300 point version, so you would be using the 150 point dial and be on his second last click when you revert. And you'd only be able to heal up to the blue starting line.
always glad to see another member for my S.H.I.E.L.D force.
And, I'm glad to see Stark Industries is getting more love now too. My Iron Man 3 duo bases need some more lovin'.
First improved movement, now improved targeting? Terrain and positioning strategy are becoming less and less meaningful. Please don't take the strategy out of your strategy game, WizKids. :ermm:
The more I think about it the more I don't like the idea of Improved Targeting: Blocking, or really just IT in general. Too powerful, but I guess that's the direction the game is going.
After so many tries I'm finally going to be able to replace my SI Tony. Both dials are going to be just great. Having my favorite armor is just a bonus.
Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.- THE Batman
Most Wanted -Man Ape- Scorpion- Boomerang- Nighthawk- Mr Hyde- Radioactive Man-Executioner
*Yawn* Seriously, the dial is fine and all, but how many good Iron Men do we need? Just getting really bored with the many, many worthy versions of Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America. Meanwhile, iterations of Spider-Man always leave us wanting more.
You are correct, ironman is over produced just like batman, superman, thor, captain america etc....however this is a set called 'The invincible Ironman' so naturally it would require an ironman figure. Although you're yawn is appropriate towards the idea of making another ironman.....but this particular ironman figure is NOT boring and does not constitute a yawn. Because of ironman popularity ALOT of figures that need to be made or desperately need remakes are getting them in this set. Iron monger, dreadnought, Alpha Flight etc......so if it weren't for ironman these figures would not see the light of day. Hate it or not, sets need to sell money. If slapping on a big picture of wolverine or ironman on the box will help sales then so be it.
This ironman isn't like any other of the 500 iron figures. Its based on an older rendition and utilizes some of the new pink powers. The specials are interesting and the dial is a beautiful Swiss army knife. The random click of quake and pulsewave portray the many armaments in ironman stockpile. This is an overdone character but not an overdone dial.
It's just weird to me that we got a bunch of modern versions of Iron Man recently (10th Anniversary, AVM, CW, IM3 etc) that are all between 115-225ish range. These are his newest upgraded designs. Then it's like WizKids said oh btw back in the 80's Tony Stark built this badass suit of armor and all his modern versions are downgraded versions. Nevermind you wouldn't understand. And does the figure look tiny compared to the base or is it just me?

First off there are movie-verse ironman figures that could give THIS ironman a run for his money. Second tony didn't stand by the "newer is always stronger" method, he constantly updated and adapted different suits for different situations. Many figures are based on specific comic appearances where the suits functionality may have differed than before. This suit seems to represent the core golden age ironman. This seems to be the suit that fought Dr. Doom to a standstill many times. The generalized "invincible " armor that tackled the majority of 90's genre challenges. I hope you are not comparing movie-verse suits to this one as they are not applicable in a comic comparison. If they TRULY went by the "newer is stronger and older is weaker" method than this dial should fall to a 4 attack. 13 defense and 1 damage. Besides....he has a split dial rookie version that fits your idea of what an older iron suit should be. And an updated or full power/capacity version. It does bother me that an older ironman has pink powers when newer versions do not....but besides that this makes a nice representation.
It's also weird to me that u wrote a book report in an attempt to reject my opinion which was solely my opinion. And it's also weird that u close the report out by stating u are bothered that his classic armor figure has pink powers and his other modern versions don't...

Oh wow......I wasn't "rejecting your opinion" at all. I actually provided a segment within my retort that agreed with your opinion. I simply offered an explanation for the things you were concerned with. My explanation was actually me expressing MY opinion! If you can...so can I buddy.
A book? Paragraphs are to much for you to read? Next time ill make sure to reduce the length of my opinion so you are not confused. :) Cheers
