You know, this guy kinda rocks. Enhancement at 20 points is already a freaking steal, but he also gives anyone trying to pick up a Relic a huge boost, making it more likely and a free action. He makes the Book of Skulls twice as easy to empty out onto your force, which may make it possible to edge the Belt off of the best resource throne. Full of awesome.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
This figure is amazing for 20 points giving you +1 to relic rolls and free actions instead of power actions to pick up relics! The enhancement is also a great addition to the figure. Can't wait to get him for my Asgardians. Oh and this guy with the Book of the Skull Resource will most likely be a pretty good combo...

"Now play the insolent. Now, plunder the God's privileges and give them to creatures of a day. What drop of suffering can mortals spare you?"
I'd go beyond "most likely be a pretty good combo" since they're designed, marketed and sold with eachother.
Splitlip makes the Book setup time a ton faster. Full value with 8 hammers and him is only 50 points.
True I've never really looked at the Book itself even though it is sitting in my box...But I do have Odin. :} This guy + Odin + Uru Forge is going to be a monster of a combo with Odin's Hypersonic Special giving him +3 range or Movement and a 2 - 6 for the Forge. Only thing that would make it better is if Odin had :m-wing: to carry Splitlip here for that Enhancement...

Give him greithoth's hammer so he gets giant reach and running shot, then he can carry splitlip around.
except none of that matters because if odin is hypersonicing/carrying then splitlip isn't on the board to give enhancement.
Spoon has it figured with the running shot because then the movement is over so splitlip will be on the board
Only problem with this is that Odin can only carry him when he has 0 action tokens, meaning you're going to be waiting until turn 3 at least to pull that Running Shot off. Not a huge hindrance, but enough of one that it may make a difference in some games.

Even if Odin could carry (which he normally can't), what would his number of action tokens have to do with his ability to carry (if he could)?

The suggestion was using Greithoth's hammer to grant giant size, so he can carry.
I can only assume the mistake made is the belief that a giant still needs to have 0 action tokens to carry, which is no longer the case.
This figure single-handedly puts relics back on my radar (and should be everyone else's too!). Once resources came out, relics fell into ineffectiveness and obscurity. But now we have a 20 point figure with enhancement top dial (worth it alone for me, I love enhancement, and there isn't enough cheap, modern age, click 1 enhancers), who gives a +1 to the roll AND makes it a free action? F'n awesome.

Agreed– and the Uru Forge included in the Mighty pack is great as a "wild card" relic! You can use it to "build" any of the Infinity Gems, any of the Worthy hammers, anything off the Utility Belt– which is no longer the only way to change your force after you see the opponent's force! With the Uru Forge on the board, you can customize your force to whatever you're facing.
So I wonder, can Splitlip be used in conjunction with the book of the skull? If he can that would be epic.
Edit: Turns out he can. They're apparently making this more clear in the next Player's Guide.

Reason: Found answer.
I'LL FORGE YOUR WEAPON, YOU $#@*&%: Friendly characters can use free actions instead of power actions to make a relic roll and modify their roll by +1 if not already modified by this effect.
few questions about him 1) is he friendly to himself? 2)does that mean also he can use a free action to get a hammer then? 3)when pull a hammer down from the book do you need to roll for it or is it automatic 6? 4) do you have to wait until next turn to use his free action with the plus 1 roll or can it be when you bring a hammer down in the beginning of your turn?
