I pop on once every other day or so, just to check the auction house. I generally see no more than 20 on. There's never anyone in the queue for a tourney. Maybe it's just the time of day that I'm on but I really don't know how it's made it this far.
There are 542,000 children in foster care. Talk to your local foster and adoptive agency. You could change a life.
Its the little things really,
the Force Loading screen is soooooooooooo small and the scroll bar jumps a lot and there is no way to search your own forces by typing the name or for a team with a particular figure in the build.
For that matter when you join a game and have to pick a team you have your list of qualified teams to pick from but when you click on the team it doesn't give you a list of what is actually on that team to verify if that is what you really want to play, even though there is a large blank box specifically set aside for your build list right next to it. They can't do a quick fix to make your selected team show up in that box?
Booster collation. For a product that doesn't actually exist they sure suck at randomizing things. I bought 24 of the Developer's Pick boosters and got 9 Vultures 6 Donald Blakes, , 3 Hercules, 3 Amadeus Cho, 2 Sharon Carters, and 1 Ock Arms (okay, the arms were cool). I bought 13 of the Players Picks and got 3 Hollywood, 2 Warlock, 2 Mole-man, 2 Assault Rifle Punishers, 2 Man-Thing and 2 Longshots.
Bollocks. Each of those, except the Ock Arms I could have just got in the Auction house for less than 10 CB if I bid at the right time. There should be a bulk offering of these that give better odds to get a SR level rarity piece. Chaps my @$$ to read folks buying 3 packs and getting nothing but SRs when this is the kind of luck I get (luck that doesn't have to be there, it can be programmed out of the equation!).
And even to get rid of my extras and buy what I'm missing, the Auction House is a pain. When I sell something all I get is notification that I got ClixBux, doesn't tell me why or what sold, I have to scroll my collection of hundreds of figures and hope I notice what is no longer there. Also several times I have attempted to make a bid but the blasted thing wouldn't record it.
Beginning of game glitches and freezes, not being able to clearly target things because terrain is in the way and won't recognize the mouse clicks, vindictively punishing dice (GSX Magneto ALWAYS seems to roll crit misses for his first attack and Cable ALWAYS rolls the same at the worst possible moment when I play them).
The few time I have actually wanted to buy Clix Bux I had to come to the forums here to figure out how to do it. Its like they want your money but have no cash register. There should be a link on the Store tab page "BUY CLIX BUX" that goes directly to their purchasing page.
What I like about HCO:
It's Heroclix.
The HCO Codes in with Avengers Movie figures were great. I think there would be more players if there were more of that kind of promotion going on. They should have matched the boosters contents though instead of being random.
A "house" sale/credit policy would be nice to see. if you can't sell your figures in the AH, and no one wants to trade, you can turn them in to HCO for N CB, based on rarity:

A lot of pet hates here. Ill try and add me tuppence worth:
Force Loading and selection:- I just write what each team is on a piece of paper so I don't need HCO to create extra unnecessary code that slows down team selection.
Booster Pulls:- I had quite good luck with both dev and players pick GF sets. Plenty of SRs and not too many doubles so I cant relate to you there.
Auctions:- When I sell something I usually memorize or write down what im selling and the price. I know paper may seem low tech but its better than lots of unnecessary code and updates.
Glitches:- The only real glitch I encounter is the dreaded blue sky at the start of a match and that 95% of the time sorts itself out. Although newbies who encounter this who don't know how to either fix it or use chat just leave the game and you are left playing a deserter.
Clixbux: This is what you need to figure out on day 1 even before you play a game even though the game is "free" now.

Utterly ridiculous. If HCO was optimized properly (or even, coded correctly and just not slapped onto the top of another game engine) there would be no slow down. Talk about your Stockholm syndrome.

Randomness generally sucks. There's not much you can do about it in the real world, but HCO could take some steps to minimize the "randomness" some. People like you would never know the difference and it would make people like Dr. Z happy. So why not do it?

Again, an utterly foolish statement. Stop making excuses for crap design.

I don't know what HCO did to you for you to hate them so much but it must have been bad. All you do is open threads slagging them off. Ive been playing HCO since December 2011 and I know what my teams are by a mixture of memory and paper. I don't need HCO to baby me by putting in features that someone with an IQ over 15 doesn't need. Putting in a screen that shows you all figures in all teams (which can reach 250), is not necessary and will slow things down as you click on every team to examine it. Slow down as in my opponent taking ages to make a decision.
Booster randomness does exist in real life you know. Maybe wizkids should put a chase and 4 SRs in each booster to save everyone money.
