Over the weekend I won LE Odin in my first storyline/event victory EVER. I am titilated with all of the options his "All-Father" special has to offer. I mainly play theme teams, so I'm trying to come up with some fun builds. As of right now I've only tried "Odin's Sons of the Night"

I got toasted, but I made quite a few dumb mistakes:
1. bad placement
2. bad placement of the Nexus token
3. didnt assign anyone a hammer cuz I didn't want to spend the action and I was overly-confident that my 1st attacks would stick for big damage.

this match was also against a pretty good Asgardian team, consisting of new Iron Man, the Serpent, Skadi, Loki on heldog and Tyr (with the BoS and like 3 hammers dished out).

anyways, I wanted to open this up to the creative folks here on the forums. what would be some fun and/or effective theme teams to pair with Odin? I've been thinking about X-Force with Spiral (for fun, I have no intention of alpha striking) and some b/c/f people and maybe letting them tk each other around. or stealing energy.

point builds can be anything under 100 but in hundred or fifty pt intervals (ex: 300, 350).

In a golden age 500 point game I did the following:

Odin
2x Asgardian Warrior
2x Valkyrie

500 on the nose.

It really goes only as far as Odin can carry you, but some good powers to choose are TK and/or precision strike. Odin especially is absolutely deadly with some precision strike.

The valkyrie's can also carry and heal Odin in a pinch

ya know, as I was packaging up dupes for a few trades today I was looking at my extra Valkyries and considering keeping them (I don't save extras unless they're generics... typically). sounds like a plan.

#$*! PRECISION STRIKE! why didn't I think of that when the Serpent was running amok with Mokk's hammer!

It even works with HSS! It's really the best power for him to pick but it's so new it can still be forgotten
