You need range and LOF to Target, unless you use a Close Combat Action to activate Mind Control, when all you need is Adjacency. I could see a ruling, though, where Malekith does NOT need range or LOF: the SP also states "...targeting **any number** of characters..." but Malekith only has 1-Arrow. For normal Ranged Combat Actions, that would make the referenced "...any number..." to be "...any number as long as the number is 1." ;)

Just opened one of these guys today. One small problem, he is not indomitable.

This is my only TDW rare so far and I don't even know if I'll ever play him. I sometimes use the mystical and ruler keywords for army building, but mystical has so many great options - I don't see him making his way onto a mystical team. With ruler, I have fewer figures but, again, the ones I do have seem better than this guy. And yeah, not indomitable.

Definitely the most accurate Malekith.

Just got him but can't think of a reason to use him. His dial isn't too good for 150 points, but I just don't see any power in this fig
