I seriously doubt Jordan had anything at all to do with tabapp. He hasn't been a part of WK for many years now.

Tabapp and what HBS is trying to do with Golem Arcana aren't remotely the same.

I was going to pledge at the warrior level, but wanted to ask a question first. Where do I click so that I can pick what codex And elite unit I want? Do I have to click "buy now", then get to pick after checkout?

They'll be creating a backer account for you where you'll be able to make those choices in the near future, the same as regular backers at those tiers. Note that this still hasn't happened yet for anyone: because of the way Kickstarter works, the only two choices anyone has until these accounts are created are minimum pledge tier and their pledge total if higher.
