Something new to me came up recently were my opponent argued that any character can pass through a friendly character's square for movement. Is this true? I have a hard time believing this because he was walking friendlies right through "the bug".
Yes you can as long it doesnt end in a square occupied by them.
Clarification, if normally moving into the square; occupied by the other character; would normally end your character's movement, then they cannot move through the friendly character.
Example, Your Spider-Man is adjacent to your opponents Doctor Octopus. You wish to move your Wolverine though the square Spidey occupies, but doing so would make Wolverine adjacent to Doc Ock, which would stop Wolverine's movement. Since Spidey occupies the square, and Wolverine would have to stop in that square, Wolverine cannot move through the square occupied by Spidey.
For reference, this is on page 3 of the rules under Moving Your Character.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
