There is indeed a proper clix play group in Hong Kong, but WK treats us like we're improper
We have quite a few players, and play quite a bit. We even organize the odd tournie, but for the record they are all unofficial (again the company won't support us).
The easiest way to get in touch with us, and see where and when games are (with no WK support, we have no proper venue) is to pop onto our Facebook group here.
Even if you're just passing through town on a business trip or what not put a post up on the group. We've organized many a evening to greet visitors in the past, and if any of us are available we'd love to try and meet you!
I'm in the U.S. but a former student has moved to Hong Kong. He's not a huge Heroclix fan (like me!) but he does play and may be looking for a fun, social outlet. I'll forward this to him. He's a recent college grad and is very bright but not real outgoing. I hope he contact you!

Cool Tom,
We'll watch out for him (on the facebook group hopefully),
I'm a Canadian ex-pat, but pretty much the rest of the group are local HKers. So if your student speaks Cantonese he'll feel right at home, and even if he is just a English speaker the gang tolerates mono language me, so I'm sure they'll treat him the same
