For 40 points puck makes a wonderful tie up character. He ignores hindering for movement allowing him to jump, flip and cartwheel his way through a battlefield in which to base a ranged tentpole and annoy him. He can also gain hindering bonuses without hurting his movement. This dial is very remenesent to pucks experienced and rookie dials only they removed stealth and gave him exploit and super senses. Although he will be great with the rest of the cheaply point costed flight members from the gravity feed....I still hope that they plan to release a beefier version with specials. I've designed better puck dials in my sleep.....this is plain and boring with little thought in the design.
So far both guardian and puck come out to 140. I have a feeling that these guys cost so little that they will make a DEVASTATING 300-400 point team!

I'm pretty sure the one they had showcased at one of the shows was a 50pt common version for the main set, so here's to hoping that extra 10pts really packs a punch.

This is a rookie version, the main set version could possibly be a split dial for both experienced and veteran versions.
SCORE: 75%. *This review is based on Puck + ATA for 44 points*. For 13 points less than my favourite Alpha Flight character, this version of Puck just might out-do the Veteran Puck from Mutant Mayhem. No Super Strength, but since I almost always aimed the Vet at a high-defense, high-reducer enemy brick, the Exploit Weakness does the same job. EW plus the 11AV equals an un-ignorable threat. So that's a very good dial for a third-string attacker. And that permanent Willpower combined with ignoring hindering terrain means a lot more mobility. A #3 attacker doesn't need a long life, as long as he can hit first and get in the way.

For 10 points less than the main set Puck, you lose the Martial Artist and Mystical keywords, but the Indomitable, Improved Movement and the Soldier keyword is a fair trade.
