It always makes me smile to break out this piece against people who haven't seen a lot of the old stuff. Put him with some cheap TK, blast someone for 5 while parked in hindering. 19 Defense at range is rough, even these days. Even late game, after having the rest of your team brawling, the late Pulse Wave is a treat. Whenever I'm building and see I'm 100ish short, V Firelord is usually my go-to. Still rated 5-stars from me.

I'm considering pairing him with V Dr. Mid-Nite in an upcoming high-point, low-action, no keyword game. Together they make a pretty decent 155-point tentpole.

Ah, those halcyon days when I'd bring the old cheese-wagon here to clix tournaments at the mall game store. I always kind of felt like Galactus. Shoot, he's still entirely playable for the points.

had some great games the other day playing him as a herald for galactus. despite being about 50 points lower than your average choice, his 14 attack for 6 damage ended up being pretty great. probably would have crumbled having taken any damage, but he never did so he worked out alright.

I miss this guy! He needs a remake.

Give him some TK and prob and he will still wreck house. Barrier is nice if you need to bunker down for a little bit. I am playing two tomorrow.

His new legacy card coming out could make him interesting
