No, because your Spiral limits the usage of your portals to friendly characters.

yes they can, as long as a team has a spiral, gateways can be treated as adjacent for friendly characters, does not specify which spiral has to place them.

I don't even own the piece so, if you are suggesting that I am a person who doesn't like a strategic, competitive match that's not accurate. I am, however, suggesting that we can all cry about how broken a piece is and have 5,000 erratas that make the game more cumbersome, especially in timed tournament play, or we can quit whining and actually figure out a strategy to defeat such figs and players who like to use them. Trust me, I had to play against Fantomex and his little EVA buddy 3 weeks in a row at our venue. Just the luck of the draw. I lost once and won twice. I enjoy the challenge. When a piece like Spiral or Sentry/Void comes out it gets played out for a few weeks and then people get it out their system. I really don't think there are "broken" figures in this game. Life's not fair and no matter how hard you try to level the playing field there are always people who are smarter, who work harder and who will excel. Suck it up and play.

Guys like you two just don't get it: when a collectible game is dominated by less than one percent of the available resources, then it is DOOMED. Why buy boosters when I can buy these two pieces online and win all my tournaments? NO boosters=No money=NO game. It's happened before. Your "suck it up and play" attitude would have left us with nothing TO play while we "suck it up".

So I used Spiral today based on the new rules. Still super tight. Not at all what she was, but I was able to do some pretty sick stuff with her regardless.

Well, PsychoHippie, it sounds like you have a bunch of tools at your venue because that is not the experience we have at ours. People like to collect and purchase product to support the game and the venue. There are certain elements of the game that bug me and that I think are a crutch, such as resources, but I am not going to go nuts and act like the whole industry is going to collapse because of one piece. Actually, I think that you are trolling and talking about a select few people who like to abuse. So, as you say, "suck it up and play."

I would suggest, Yondu77, that you educate yourself on the history of the collectible game, specifically games that ignored broken and abusive strategies and were ultimately abandoned by their player base and left to go bankrupt.

I WOULD suggest that but, since the danger to this game has passed for the moment, I really don't care if you remain woefully ignorant or not.

She can still be a secondary attacker in a Mystical themed team tho. ;)
