I hope this Longshot mini-series turns out to be good. I don't really have any idea what to expect from it. Will it be silly or serious, or in-between?

Probably silly, if the writer is sticking to his usual style.

Pretty good lineup here.

The most frustrating part is that I can't find any info on why it's being delayed. All I could find was a comment on a post on the official site that said that 4 and 5 were done or being worked on and that they don't know why 3 is delayed. But that was a month ago.

Cataclysm #1 (RIP Ultimate Universe, even though I haven't followed anything but Spider-Man for years) It all became such a clusterFook towards ultimatum and since then. Kind of lost its point.

Forever Evil #3 went to some expected places, but I am quite alright with that. It was a fun comic.

It did! Luthor and Bizarro were wonderful, Black Manta's motives still feel like a stretch, but I'll let him slide.

This issue made me want to re-read JLA 8 and pick up Justice League 24. I'm glad this is a DC event that I can seriously recommend to people instead of laughing awkwardly and being like "yeah, silly DC and their crazy ideas..."

Yes you will. Because it's Black Mother F'in Manta.
