why in the hell can't Wizkids make a good juggernaut. >.> we're talking about one of the most powerful beings in marvel universe. he's punched through reality multiply times, he's taken on gods and even his own creator. I guess the team that made this piece of #### just wanted a revert for kurrth since that's about all this character should be used for but even at that he's a worthless piece of #### -.- oh and final complaint >.< why no exemplar keyword? they need to bring in the full 8 would be so awesome.
it could be based on on the thunderbolts juggernaut which was very very very weak. I do agree with other statements around the internet that the Juggernaut needs to be done correctly in heroclix thus far he's been a wimp and no match for any of the corresponding hulks. the juggernant was only character the hulk didn't beat in WWH.
He should a good few clix of 5 damage (6 is too high for any basic character), never drop below 3 and his attack should be 12 or 11 for longer and like with this dial never be below 9.
The juggernaut in the world of heroclix should always be a good pick when battling the likes of Hulk, Thor & Superman after all he was specifically designed by Marvel to be that street level bad guy that could take the mightiest heroes punches and attacks as well as dishing them out. I just wish wizkids could give us that Juggernaut the one that has long been forgotten by Marvel comic writers.
This fig has a blue rarity value; apt, because it'll be so rare for someone to actually have him in their collection. A weak, weak, Juggy interpretation or not, this is poor.
GSX Juggy was very close but Clix still needs this powerful character in all his glory.
This Juggernaut was almost definitely designed to be a Kuurth revert. It'd be tough to think of another situation. No top dial charge and loses attack mid-dial? Add in Kuurth's Hammer, and he has un-Outwitable Charge and Toughness, Improved Movement, and that much needed bonus to attack.
Definitely could've made him stronger, but I won't be disappointed if I get one.
I'm with everyone on the Kuurth reversion, but I will probably play this figure on thunderbolts (when not using Kuurth). While he's not as strong as he could be (in thunderbolts he took on Thor and Luke Cage at the same time) this dial kinda reminds me of him slowly charging through a bunch of hand ninjas.
For only 115 points, you can't go wrong with the "Swiss Keyword Army" version of Juggernaut, who can run through everything, never has a damage value that drops below 3 and whose combat values/powers improve the more he's damaged.
The beauty of this design, is that this he's cheap enough to serve as a tentpole on many effective builds. Add the cheaper version of Age of X Magneto (90 points) to grant Juggy the X-Men TA.
I like this version of Juggernaut for when he was on X-men with Nightcrawler,Angel and Iceman. The lack of X-men TA is also fitting as none of them trusted him or even wanted him on the team.
I also like this piece for new Excalibur builds for the same reasons.
I like that this Juggernaut fits on teams, and I suppose he could be good if you play him right (Thunderbolting to Masters of Evil might make him good), but he really should have had a higher point value option (Either a REV style dial or an alternate Gravity Feed version).
Even on Thunderbolts he wasn't really this weak. He did brawl with Hyperion in a one on one.
This guy is a Kuurth revert, nothing more. Other than that he's a very poor representation of Juggs. But slap Kuurth's hammer on him via revert and add charge, IM, and a +2 AV along with flurry (and possibly a random TA via Thinderbolts)? This guy could swing the game in your favor.
He gets 3 Stars from the Kuurth alone! Know what? Bump that to 5 stars for being the game closing beat stick behind Colossus for my Excalibur theme teams.
The lack of indomitable is pretty surprising. I never thought I would see such a wimpy dial from Juggernaut but the sculpt is amazing. Too bad it needs a repaint.
