It's true that it has #### AV, but my point is that all of its other bull#### is way under costed. If you manage to get ahead on points, you can run away and protect your whole team and easily heal anyone who isn't one-shotted.
That's why I had to go for the big bombs and keep one shotting people. But if my strategy is hoping for my opponent to roll low, I've pretty much already lost.
Anyhoo, kudos to you for building a good team around it. Good match
There's a couple of ways around the bug, such as Swingline or the Aerial Baffler. Mind Control is super effective, as is precision strike (I think that gets past the side dials).
The Bug is a weird piece. Wrong map, wrong BFC, wrong team, and he's done. But it does terrible things to 'balanced' teams that traditionally do well.

Quoted for truth. The Bug is either the biggest monster ever for just under 200, or the biggest waste of space for 200.
Here's hoping for a new Player's Guide tomorrow! (I can dream)

like hoping for ####ty die rolls by my opponent, if im hoping for a map or bfc to defeat the bug, then ive already lost. I think the vehicle rules in general are a joke, but the bug just stands out as particularly ridiculous.

Tanks, Batmobile, and Batwing aren't too bad. Cycles, Cruisers, Jet and the Bug can get pretty gross.
-In General-, I think vehicles are the least bothersome of the big 3 new mechanics (Resources, Team Bases). They're easier to manage. They just require a ton of damage capability/Ways around their SPs. Aerial Baffler/Swingline is a quick upgrade to nerf their Vehicle symbol/pilot powers. Tons of damage is key. We've always had bonkers concept pieces like Zoom, Arkillo etc that have crazy damage potential, but don't really pan out against balanced teams. Vehicles are not balanced teams. Those kinds of pieces works wonders against pieces like this.
I'm not saying that the bug isn't borken, I'm just saying that it's very circumstantial. Like a bargain Colossal.

I agree with you in the context of a normal clix game. I disagree with you in the context of a HCFL match with a 15-turn limit. The instant he is up on points, he can hide his entire team behind the bug, and it is virtually impossible to KO the bug. You basically have to have a sharpshooter shoot thru the damn thing and one shot guys, which was what I tried to do, obviously

Well, to be honest, you would have been better off taken pot shots at The Bug and forcing me to make decisions on where the damage would go.
After all, while I can dish damage off onto the other dials, if they go bye-bye, so do the powers on those dials. Like the support SP, or the Running Shot and probably most importantly, the Willpower. (Even though The Bug can also dish off push damage to his other dials as well)
Bullseye doing 6 damage to an Impervious Outwitted Bug one-shots one of those 2 dials. Sure, it doesn't seem like you are doing much, but the reason I was able to hit Bullseye was because I could use Running Shot and drop the PD figures where I needed, rather than use HSS where I could only place them down after the fact.
