Not a bad piece, but just doesn't feel like Garth as much as the one from the Starter did. Precision Strike is a good call, but I'd really like a higher range, multiple targets, and some Pulse Wave, Incapacitate, and Energy Explosion. ESD and Poison couldn't have hurt either. I could also get behind an extra click of life.

While I agree with the Pulse Wave/Incap as well as maybe an extra click.. that would be asking an awful lot for 106 points. I think his playability at this price is more plausible than a more expensive LL.

There's no doubt he's solid for the points, I just think this is a very bland representation of the character. It's just too "point-and-shoot" for my taste. Hopefully we get a more creative one in the LE's, gravity feed, or fast forces.
Wow....this guy is full of damage potential. Running shot/ psychic blast combo for 3 penetrating. Range combat expert for 5 damage, precision strike and his damage special power ark lightning. No matter the situation, lightning lad has damage options throughout his dial.

Maybe they'll put a high point one in the gravity feed/countertop display. I think they chose the point values they did because you can run all three founds & the Legion Lost ATA for exactly 300 points.
Is he affected by the damage depletion modifier in regards to Arc Lightning since the power specifies for him to use his printed damage value?
I would say no - power text regarding each consecutive hit:
"...replacing his range value with his printed range value minus the number of hits he has made this turn with this power and also using his printed damage value."
So with each hit his range is reduced and his damage stays at his printed dmg value. His range can be reduced to 0 cause his range is replaced with his shorter range instead of modify.
