I've read that most of the Enterprise-A's were damaged in the starter set due to a packaging error. Is this true? I've looked at the ones in the two stores I go to and they look funny so I haven't bought them. Anyone else know about this? Are there any in the blind boxes?

There are no "Refit Constitution" class ships in the blind boosters; the U.S.S. Enterprise-A in the set 1 Starter is the only current example of one of those ships.

I bought two of those Starters; one of my Ent-As has a slightly misglued nacelle but the other one seems mostly okay (the saucer is tilted a little to one side).

Thanks. I've been thinking about picking up Fleet Captains for the minis and I might just use the Ent-A in that set. Maybe even get someone to paint it up nice.

For what it's worth, the Enterprise-A in my copy of Fleet Captains seems perfectly fine.

My Ent-A seems fine. I have it packaged right now, but I didn;t have any problems with it before when I played it or displayed it

I'll keep looking then. Maybe I can find one that isn't messed up.

I just picked up some Star Trek Micro Machines on E-Bay, a Enterprise-A for $15 and a Enterprise B for $6. A company called Shapeways does 3D printing that makes an adapter that fits atop the WKs post that fits into these ships and many others.
