Venue B has coordinated their Feeder with Venue A. Jimmy plays in the Feeder and wins. Jimmy will not be attending the SQ.
Can Jimmy's pass and first-round bye be transferred to another player for the same event?
Based on the MaxPoints precedent, Jimmy should be able to turn over his pass and bye to anyone he wants. But this assumes that, like MaxPoints, there is a physical token which grants the bearer the free admission and first-round bye. I don't want to assume that's the case.

Hey J, good question. As I have discussed, and ruled, in the past IRT ROC and things like this (when we used to give travel money as an award and con badges) we added a provision where we agreed that the winner would be able to pass on his/her 1st place prizes, like travel funds, to the 2nd place finisher should the 1st place finisher be unable to make the trip. We allowed this "pass down" effect to go as far as 4th place.
And I am OK with that precedence influencing my decision here. So, to put it as simply as I can:
Bye's awarded to campaign winners may be handed down, as far as 4th place, should the winner be unable to attend the Super Qualifier associated with it.
Hope that makes sense.
What we do in life echoes in eternity!
Respect is a given, only disrespect can be earned.
Does anyone know if ROC is lobbying venues to hold a super-qualifier. It would be cool to have one in Washington State. The venues I play at don't have enough players to warrant a super qualifier, but I know there are a lot of clix players in the puget sound area.
We are having one in Salem, Oregon. It might be a bit out of your range and line of fire. Just know that all are welcome. Also if you can find a decent amount to come down, perhaps your local venues would want to hold some of the Feeders.
