Can we please get a final word on Saturn Girls "telepathic coordination". Newest post was 2009, and I think it needs re-addressed.
Not sure what you mean here:
A) What exactly is the issue with Saturn Girl? Can't answer questions when we don't know what they are...
B) She doesn't have an entry yet, so I am not sure where "Newest post was 2009" is going. If you are speaking in general, there most definitely have been posts since 2009, though.
I know this is a 7 page discussion already for Galactus and the set has only been out 2 days but can we get final words on the new Collosal characters damage transfer from one dial to the next on their base, i agree with most saying it is a continuous dial since it doesn't state other wise like the old ones did. also Galactus needs a final word in general cause he brings too many questions to the game, espcially using an Alter Ego as a harald.
Okay, I am not sure where to ask this question and I cannot start my own thread yet. But... issues is I am a judge and have a quirky situation a friend of mine presented when using alter ego in free play and it generated several more questions while we discussed this.
Situation: Alter Ego power is at issue. Player 1 brings Bruce Wayne and The Dark Knight among others for his team to the table from the start of play. The Dark Knight gets Ko'd. Player 2 converges on the rest of his team and hits Bruce Wayne opening the option for the Alter Ego Power to come into play. Player 1 brings the Dark Knight Back to play after the KO.
Issue 1: My Opinion as a judge is that it cannot happen because of the KO. If Player 1 wants to use Alter Ego power they either need another The Dark Knight or to not play the Dark Knight from the start of game. I argue this because in the rules under Defeating Characters it reads: When a KO symbol appears in a character's slot, that Character is defeated. Immediately remove it from the map; it is NO longer part of the game.
Devil's advocate argues that the replacement character for the alter ego power is also out of the game from the start.
To me while that statement is true the KO'd Dark Knight is out of play because it has been defeated.
Issue 2: Question is the Dark Knight a unique figure to bring into a Team?
Issue 3: Varied situation. Dark knight and Bruce Wayne are on the board simultaneously by player 1. The force has been divided by player 2. If Bruce is hit can he use alter ego to replace Bruce with the Dark Knight already on the board. Even if the Dark knight is close to KO, I don't know why you would do this but it was a point we discussed as this conversation expanded. You are limiting your team and Alter Ego draws from replacement characters and you cannot replace characters from active characters in play. They also would be forced to break away if they were based.
And yes I have read and reread all of the 2011 and 2012 rules and so what I am looking for is a final ruling.
Okay, I think I just found my answer to the unique (question 2). The Dark Knight is not Unique but The Batman, both from The Dark Knight Rises set, would be unique.
1) Under the 2011 rules you would be allowed to use a character that has been KO'd again, such as Hydra Soldiers. In the 2012 rules there is a set Sideboard, so a KO'd character cannot return to the map.
2) In the 2013 rules it is unclear weather the Sideboard will be considered to be part of your force, similar it is unclear weather KO'd figures are considered to be still part of your force. This issue came up with Chase Thanos and The Champion and we are still waiting for an answer, so just rule it how you wish right now.
3) You could not replace using Alter-Ego with a character that is still on the map. It has to be a character from off the board.

Suppose the Thing from m10 picks up an object on his movement path while using his rip it up power, would he not be able to get a new object from outside the game, or would he drop an object, or would he hold both?
Special Powers
LEMME GRAB SOMETHIN': Thing can use Super Strength. Give Thing a move action when he has no action tokens and is not holding an object; after actions resolve, give him a standard light object from outside the game.
Im asking about timing, when he is given the action he wont have an object, but on his move what happens if he does grab an object in his path?

This should have been asked in the regular rules forum and not in the Final Word.
His power would does not allow him to hold more then one object. So at the time you would give him the second object after actions resolve, he would simply drop it in the square he occupied.

My goodness are you people trying to drive the RD's crazy? Try an actual question.

Is there a queston here? I hope it isn't about the replacement character getting the buff because this has been addressed and answered so many times I can hardly see straight. Replacements get what the previous character had.
I'm sure if I went back I could shake my finger at more of you but the point is please don't just whine about wanting a final word. Ask for an answer to a problem that hasn't been answered yet, which means you should at least bother to review the rules forum before asking here. The RD's are volunteer positions and many of them have lives and other responsibilities within the realms, which means they don't have time to hold your hands thru each concern.
Obviously we would like a final word on all figures but until then please get out of your own way and use everyone's time considerately and productively.
