Win/Loss: 1-0 I did not want to like Kingpin when I first saw him and everytime I went to build a team. Finally I tried him out and he proved to be a pretty nasty addition to a Sinister Syndicate team. Leadership & Outwit are obviously great, but his damage value is sick. He supports others especially is you add contingency plan to him. This really benefits his Mastermind. If not, have him take the damage and watch his values creep up. Now he helps the team by giving them an attack boost. 78 is a little steep for the 'Pin, but on a well built team (preferably 400+) he will go sumo on almost everyone.

Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
I quite like the dial - an improvement on the old one for sure! I just don't like the sculpt. I understand he's the "Kingpin of Crime" and probably doesn't get his hands as dirty as he should, but in the comics (especially early Amazing Spidey issues) he would fight Spider-Man hand to hand. All I want is a sculpt that makes him look menacing, arms outstretched and ready to crush some windpipes. Is that too much to ask?
It it too much to ask to get a Kingpin with an Obliterator Cane SP? He's really good but a Psyblast 4 range SP on clicks 2 and 3 would have made him perfect.
When i played martial artists against green lantern in a 1000 point game he actually did pretty well i had to box them in behind some blocking terrain then ganthet tried to beat him and every time i got the super senses rolls plus i even got a critcal hit when using his cce. I'm not saying his stats are amazing im just saying if you have support with him and luck he can deal some good damage
Move: BLACKMAIL - Kingpin can use Mind Control. Give Kinpin a power action. He can grant a friendly character within 8 squares and with the same team symbol, Mind Control with a range of 2. All damage from using Mind Control is dealt to Kinpin instead of the character using Mind Control.
Attack: TEAR GAS CANE - Kinpin can use Incapacitate with a range of 4.
Damage: INTIMIDATION - Target a character within 4 squares. The target must not be adjacent to a character friendly to its force. The target’s point value must be less than the combined point value of Kingpin and friendly characters adjacent to Kingpin with the same team symbol. Kinpin can use Perplex on the targeted character twice.
I can't comprehend the hatred and disdain for this figure. He's EXACTLY what kingpin should be. I love how he can mastermind to higher point values....very comic accurate. Outwit and leadership throughout the game....then when someone finally gets passed his super senses and mastermind...he becomes a surprise brawler dealing 4 damage. I love his AV spike at the end!
Not terribly comic-accurate, but a nice toolbox figure that can function as a secondary (or tertiary) attacker if need be. 8 AV is pretty awful, but the team ability helps. I'm pretty surprised he's so unpopular on the boards.
Played a game tonight, all HoT, Kingpin ended up facing off against a Rock Troll. Kingpin with his CCE (Sumo wrestling his card calls it), wrestled that troll to the ground. Hilarious and awesome beatdown.
